Hey! I've been following PWG for awhile, but tomorrow night is going to be my first live PWG event! Just wondering how early people usually show up at the place, how the ticketing works, etc. thanks! - people start lining up several hours in advance. the seat is on a first-come basis, so the earlier you get there the closer you are to the front of the line and better chances for a good seat. take a book or tablet or something to kill the time. - there are three lines: front row, general admission, and people hoping to buy tickets at the door. at some point during the course of the late afternoon/early evening, the GA and At The Door lines are going to merge into one giant clusterf***. another good reason to try to get there early is so you can be in front of the point where the lines merge and become chaos. - at some point in the course of waiting in line, Legion Larry will come out and give you the evil eye. don't take it personally, he does it to everyone. just make sure you're not tailgaiting and/or littering and you'll be fine. also, there is an old lady at the rest home right next to the Legion Hall that'll come out about every twenty minutes to smoke and stare at the line. if you get bored, just start counting home many cigarettes she smokes while you wait. - if, when you wait in line, pigs can be seen flying, there is a chance they may actually start on time. if however, no pigs flying, don't gets discouraged when its a half hour after belltime and they still haven't let people in. they'll start the show...eventually. - you're going to be patted down before you enter the venue, so be smart and go ahead and empty your pockets when you're in the #1 or #2 position in line. don't be one of the geniuses that watches everyone get patted down, then are surprised when it happens to them, and even more surprised when asked to empty their pockets. - after getting patted down you go inside to the ticket table. if you've already ordered a ticket you'll give them your name. if you're hoping to buy a ticket, try to get there extra early, and don't be afraid to beg and/or trade sexual favors for entry if the building is completely full. - once past the ticket table, you'll be presented with three options: find a seat, peruse the merch, or get in the beer line. i would recommend finding a seat first, preferably one on the end if you can manage it, as you don't want to be standing all night. if you're flying solo, bring like a jacket or something even if its 127 degrees outside to use as a seat marker; if you going with one or more other person, take turns holding the seats so you can see all the wrestlers' wares and get drinks. i don't know how much beer prices are since i don't drink, but cokes where $2.50 for a glass and $7 for a pitcher. go for the pitcher since its a better buy and the building will be hot as hell - if you decide you're going to try and start your own chant, make sure its clever. and if you chant fails to get over, just let it go. don't be one of those jackasses that repeatedly tries to get themselves and their lame chant over by doing it nonstop throughout the match, or god forbid entire show

To add to it, If you're sitting in row 2 of 5, please be mindful of your neighbors and try to refrain from standing after every 4 moves. Do laugh when it's silent enough to hear Excalibur commentating. Do not cheer Chris Hero around Triplethreatmark. At some point, they'll call for intermission. There's a food truck around the corner, as well as a liquor store open nearby, if you are obliged. Angelo will yell "we're starting up again in 5 minutes!" This is your 15 minute warning. While waiting in line, it helps pass the time by talking. Failing that, eavesdropping on others talking about/promoting their podcast is also fun. I like chiming in with a single remark, reaffirming my wrestling nerddom and then falling right back into the crowd. Don't laugh at Roderick Strong's boots. The man can only afford one pair. There's a referee that bears a striking resemblance to Fat Elvis. BOO THIS MAN. He can't count to 3, and when he does, it usually kills the match. Referee Tony Roma is not *that* Tony Roma. But he is also famous for his ribs. Rick Knox is a great worker, and you'd never know this from PWG DVD releases. Nobody can go over the top rope like Knox. Make sure he's reminded of this. Recycle.

Threemendous still has half a card, I wonder what the other half of it is..
Can't wait to see the reviews and results on Yb/Angelico & Evans and Tozawa/Ricochet. Both matches should be excellent

Would Bosh technically count as a fly-in now since he's living in Texas? Also, apparently he has a farm now. I can't remember which newLegacy video Dino mentions it on, might be one of the Wrestlebets videos.

I (somehow) managed to get a ticket ahead of time, and get off work in Sun Valley at four, so I'm just going to head straight there. Can't wait!

I know it's not very topical, but I've been watching some of my older PWG shows and man I just cant overstate how much I love this company. Currently watching Kurt Russellmania and damn this show was stacked for something that had to be rearranged at the last minute.
-Chris Hero vs Roderick Strong vs Rob Van Dam -The Young Bucks vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick -El Generico vs Jushin Liger -Joey Ryan & Scott Lost vs The Great Muta & KAI -Davey Richards vs Kevin Steen -Super Crazy vs Human Tornado -Brandon Bonham vs Brandon Gatson -Team Candice LeRae vs Team Christina Von Eerie
They've put on better shows since from a pure wrestling standpoint, but I still say this show was the perfect mix of name recognition + talent.

Richards/Steen and Generico/Liger were both awesome live. That said, the best match was the tag match. Their first show after BOLA 2009, Kendrick had just aligned with the Bucks and somehow we got this gem.

I feel like mcmahonfan85 and metylerca's posts should just be made into one giant post attached to every new PWG thread as the "FAN How-To" guide to PWG shows.
Edit: Damn, everybody is showing up earlier than I thought for the show. I was planning on getting there at 6.

I could save you a spot in line if u want. Metylerca, we should coax a podcaster to doing a live podcast from the line. Marc Maron meets PWG. Sounds good to me.

As far as I've seen, Johnny Gargano is in Reseda, Ethan Page isn't. Haven't seen anyone else who wasn't announced beforehand.
