Seriously though it's funny to me to see people complain about the price. Same people probably mock Full Sail from wanting every NXT show. I'd drop a bill easy to sit front row for any PWG show, but that's just not a thing... people are complaining about the price because they keep jacking it up more and more. when i went a few years ago GA tickets were $30. to go to all three nights this year you're out $165 just for tickets, and Los Angeles ain't a cheap town, so whether you live there or you're visiting, unless you make really good money its going to eat into your budget big time. for the same price of going to all three shows you could buy 11 PWG dvds. plus with it being so crowded now you're ticket doesn't guarantee you a seat, just entry into the building, so paying that much and having to stand 4+ hours kinda sucks.

Yup. This is exactly the case. It really is annoying that they don't want to do shows at a bigger venue.

Logo color and design reminds me a lot of True Detective Season 2 opening credits ![](https://static.dyp.im/qEOVsgiQnq/4ad92d40c020eefbf8ef83a47d7352b5.png) ![https://i.vimeocdn.com/video/523617616_640.jpg](https://i.vimeocdn.com/video/523617616_640.jpg) BOLA 2011 had easily the best match graphics/logo/design ever in my book. Although I do love the Black Cole Sun design from last year as well ![http://i.ytimg.com/vi/GWGGLbhoLko/maxresdefault.jpg](http://i.ytimg.com/vi/GWGGLbhoLko/maxresdefault.jpg) Post apocalypic LA with old TVs, such a great idea and execution of it. I wish they would do more stuff like this as far as the graphics/logos go

I remember when they used to make custom websites with bios and BOLA stats. They stopped that in like 2011. I also miss the custom pre-match "taunt" screens that would play before every match for the BOLA DVDs.

I could just imagine Trevor Lee doing his hands on hips chin up pose for it!

Didn't they have trouble with the green screen that year (or was it 2012?) and since then said "f*** it" when it came to that? ![](http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/8182/bryandanielson.gif) Also, we'll never get this again.

The ones I remember the most are from 2008. Chuckie T, Omega, Brandon Bonham(remember him?), Human Tornado, and Scott Lost's were the best ones.

I honestly thought he would be something big in PWG. He was miles ahead of Gatson, who they seemed to love.

I'm getting really nervous about tomorrow night. Even a 5 second frozen browser can ruin my chances of getting just 1 ticket to the finals. I don't remember ever having this much pressure for last years BOLA

Come on PWG, move to a bigger venue and cheapen the price already.

Bonham was indeed awesome though. He messed up Nigel pretty badly that BOLA in the second round.

I don't even care about the price. I wouldn't mind having BOLA in slightly bigger arenas, like 200-300 more seats.
There's just too many new fans that want to attend AT LEAST one show and too many regulars that will kill to resume their 50+ show streak.

I want to keep going. But dude, if they're not making it hard right now...

Exactly. I'd hate there to be a scenario where there's a 'Hardcore regulars vs Noob fans' mentality in the crowd. They're getting more popular than they've ever been and they run the risk of alienating newer fans from attending if only Hardcores have the know-all and passion to keep attending month after month, hogging all the tickets for anyone else wanting to get on board. A hard balancing act but PWG is gonna have to address it within the next year if it gets exponentially worse (Particularly BOLA'16)
PWG's last year has been phenomenal in indie popularity and packing the shows, but it's becoming a hindrance that hasn't been addressed outside of skirting the fire code. A victim of their well-deserved popularity

I was in LA during the Don't Sweat the Technique weekend and considered going, but couldn't bring myself to commit to trying to get a door ticket when I was already spending time at Universal Studios that day and couldn't guarantee if I'd even get past the front door.
