I'm in the don't care camp. I pretty much expected this so it's hard to say I'm disappointed. I'm not really emotionally invested in WWE right now, last year in similar circumstances I was fairly annoyed but this is just what WWE is now: some weird perplexing company that goes against their audience in spite of itself so it's hard to be disappointed when their reputation is what it is.

At a time when business is bound to go up because of seasonal factors, are people sure they want to pick NOW to prophesies doom?
Everyone cancelling the Network 4 days before month-long freebie kicks in might not bring down Rome. Just saying.

I expected Reigns to win. I like Reigns. I wanted Bryan to win. I was at the show and booed when Bryan lost and when Reigns won. I think Lesnar-Reigns could be cool. I'd prefer Ambrose-Rollins-Reigns. I guess what I'm saying is I don't care

Meh. Better than Big Show or Kane IMO, but preferred Bryan, Ziggler, or Ambrose.

I like Reigns but I don't quite think he's ready to main event Wrestlemania, especially against Lesnar.

Bummed out doesn't even describe it. I have a legit headache after watching this PPV and that's never happened since I started watching wrestling in the mid-90s, never.
Let that be my answer.

Don't really care.
I'm mostly disappointed that WWE never learn their lesson and put on a consistent quality product the way they did 10 to 15 years ago. And it appears to be getting worse.

I didn't watch but I laughed how WWE KNEW he was going to get booed so had to shoehorn the Rock into it to try and prevent it.
Please tell me it didn't work and the crowd shitted all over it anyway.

Don't care either way, I'm one of those "barely pays attention" guys I called out in the other thread to be honest.
What baffles me is that the blow back against dude was obviously coming, so unless they're doing this to turn him heel I don't get why they'd almost purposefully spite their audience.
I ain't mad or anything, just baffled.

We need new guys on top, and it seems like we got at least one at this show.

Seen a great line on another board and had to share, it just about sums up my thoughts on the matter.
"It's amazing! This guy is bad at every part of his job except being sexy. He can't wrestle a compelling match unless he's the big scary guy who gets the hot tag while his partners do all the work and make the opponent look strong, and he can't convincingly pick up a microphone and make you believe he's a native English speaker. And instead of keeping him as the big scary enforcer, they strapped a rocket to him and tried to make him the Rock. He's barely Samu"

We need new guys on top, and it seems like we got at least one at this show. Which is all the more frustrating - there are three guys who were ready for this, RIGHT NOW, who are over, RIGHT NOW, and they gave it to the guy who's been getting lukewarm reactions and hasn't quite meshed together his singles wrestling game.

I can't even be bothered to be angry about it.
It's pretty clear at this point WWE is like "You WILL like Roman Reigns!!!"
But yeah, that's not a good thing even when The Rock can't get you over.

I'm fine about it. Not elated, not angry. I can behind this. I'm just glad somebody new is getting a chance to succeed on top and hopefully this will be the making of him.

On one side of it I have no real problem with him winning. He's young and it's a fresh face in the Mania title match. On the other hand, I'd have much rather seen Ziggler or Ambrose win instead. They're more over, better workers, can carry a feud better (especially since it's mostly going to be verbal), and just plain deserve it more. Of course, there's always Bryan, and him vs. Brock would have been amazing.

Simply put: Reigns isn't ready (brother). I understand that they really, really, really, really wanted to do him versus Lesnar, but after the injury and missing so much time last year that should have been spent helping him improve on the mic and as a singles wrestler, this whole thing just feels way too rushed. If they had held off on him for one more year, I probably would have been happy, but it's WWE, where it's like pulling teeth to get them to change a plan after they've set it.
