Currently making my way through Geoff Johns Green Lantern from the start before I only read Blackest Night and the post stuff. I'm currently about to start Sinestro Corps War. Also I'm reading Silver Age Flash and will in a few issues time be hitting the first appearance of the Reverse Flash. In other comics stuff I'm debating on picking up Essential Dazzler and I've read the plot synopsis of Wicked + Divine and I'm interested in-that as well but unsure. Johns' pre-New 52 GL stuff, especially the first half leading up to Blackest Night, is just fantastic stuff. The strength of that writing (and JSA for a few years before that) made me a loyal Johns reader ever since. I've always wanted to read Dazzler myself. It was a weird project - created basically to be a crossover with a record label, who were at a few points going to provide an actual singer to be Dazzler in real life, but then that never happened. They heavily promoted her in all sorts of appearances in Marvel books, and then Marvel went on with the series because of all that work even though the record label dropped out. Also, IIRC, the artistic intent (from artist John Romita Jr) was for her to look like Grace Jones, but in reality everyone else wanted it to be a Bo Derek type. Interesting how different those visions were...

Have they gone anywhere with this story line recently? It seems lie it's been forgotten. with good reason.

Didn't think I'd like Endgame seeing as how Snyder's last Joker story was a big f***ing bust BUT Endgame is going pretty good for the most part. I just wanna know how the hell Jokey grew his face back.

I've really enjoyed Endgame. I missed the first two parts, but it was easy to get into.

Tom DeFalco has confirmed he will be writing the 666th issue of Archie, which will be the "finale" for the more familiar tone and format of the series before the re imagining under Mark Waid.

I'm really hoping Silver Surfer continues after Secret Wars. My fear is that it ends up in the same non-MCU limbo as Fantastic Four and X-Men, which I'd hate to see. I've really been enjoying the "Surfer as Doctor Who" sort of vibe the current book's used and I'm always in love with anything Michael Allred does.

ASM#15 {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Mayday returns to her home dimension to find Mary Jane and Wes safe and sound with Benjy and Uncle Ben at the neighbors, MJ was able to save Wes' life and pull him out of the house before it collapsed. MJ confirms Mayday's father is dead, but he would have been happy to know his sacrifice saved his family and that their safety was enough. Uncle Ben asks if he can stay and be something he's never been..a grandfather. Mayday says she'd be honored. MJ takes out a box of Peter's belongings and reveals his old costume to Mayday, asking her to wear it in Peter's honor. Mayday decides to retire from being Spider-Girl, realizing this experience has matured her, and she decides to become Spider-Woman.
Back on Loomworld, the other Spiders "hoof" it back to their home dimensions, but Superior begins to dismantle the web of life, trying to prevent his own defeat in the future from coming to pass. The interference is enough to snap Julia Carpenter out of her coma back in 616. Miguel and Gwen return to their future time and home dimensions respectively, with Miguel spoiling the end for Superior to Gwen.
In a timey-whimey twist, Karn is revealed to have been the Master Weaver all along, with his future self being killed. He completes the paradox loop and takes over as the new Weaver and Superior is sent back in time to the events of Superior. The Inheritors are shown to be snacking on the irradiated Spiders in the bunker on Uncle Ben's world.
Spider-UK discovers his reality has been destroyed and he cannot go home, so he decides to stay on Loomworld and travel from dimension to dimension helping other Spiders cope with the Incrusions. Anya decides to stay behind with him and use her recent knowledge, Master Weaver declares them the Warriors of the Web, and they are fated to have an army of "Amazing Friends" (to be continued in Spider-Verse by Mike Costa). As UK and Anya make preparations, Kane's hand is seen punching it's way out of the dead Spider corpse. He's alright folks.
Peter, Jessica and Cindy return to 616, where Peter prevents a mugging and gets a thankyou from the person he saves. He wonders if he's in the right dimension after all. Hur Hur. End

Have they gone anywhere with this story line recently? It seems lie it's been forgotten. Explained today in New Avengers #30. It's exactly what it looks like, and you find out the people that did it. {Spoiler}The Beyonders hunted down entities like Living Tribunal, Order/Chaos, The Celestials, etc.
And the Captain Britain Corps were smashed too. Brian's the last.

At the halfway point in Rossmo & Grecian's RASPUTIN. Loving every page of it so far. They really teased something pretty crazy for the next volume. It reads very differently than most comics and even from their previous works. Some substantial growth from both writer and artist in terms of storytelling ability. I think them doing their own projects and Grecian getting into novels and screenwriting really changed up how they do things, in a good way.
Overall though, another great series from the PROOF team.
Also got the new Mutanimals and am excited to read it during lunch today

Too right. That issue was awful, a tad too downbeat compared to how boundless she had been in Spider-Verse
I much preferred Silk's debut. Which surprises even me considering she was one of the worst things to happen to ASM in years

Read Mutanimals just now and it was terrific fun. It's a lot lighter and a bit more cartoony than the main TMNT comic with IDW right now, but it totally works and I recommend it. Not enough Mondo Gecko right now, but Pigeon Pete is clearly the breakout star of this series. {Spoiler}also they introduce Mutagen Man in the most brutal way. He basically begs them to kill him Also catching up on Valiant's Quantum & Woody Must Die - funniest. damn. book. EVAH.
