Citing six "high-level NFL sources," Yahoo's Charles Robinson reports the Cowboys and Cardinals are not willing to pay the price the Vikings have demanded to trade Adrian Peterson. I wonder what they are asking for and what they actually want

Washington picks up Griffin's 5th year option. Dumb Of course they did, Dan Snyder loves him, RG3 will somehow outlast the current coaching staff for sure.

Considering how badly Shanahan f***ed him up, I kinda feel like they owed him.

If the Browns and Redskins work out a trade somehow they will both screw it up.

Missouri edge rusher Shane Ray was arrested Monday morning for possession of marijuana in Cooper County, Mo.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Browns "covet" Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.

Good god, this might be the best case of prospect stupidity ever. There have been dumb post-season DUIs, morons that fail the Combine drug test that everyone knows is coming. But this dumbass just had to avoid getting in trouble for another 4 or 5 days and he gets drafted. You can't get a fall guy to ride with you? Or lock the weed in the trunk? Or just not smoke for the week? Jesus. If you're dumb enough to be driving around with weed the week of the draft, you deserve to get busted and fall. This is not surprising considering the program that Mizzou has been running lately.

So numerous teams have reached out to the Jets to see if Wilkerson is available, all I have to say to this is if the Jets trade Mo away I'm done, Ive already had to watch Revis get shipped away then win it all, I do not want that to happen to Mo. Keep the Sons of Anarchy in green and white Jets.

So I'm working on my own NFL mock draft. It is clearly the most legitimate and realistic NFL mock draft you will ever see. I'll post it here when I get it done.

Keep the Sons of Anarchy in green and white Jets. See, I guess this is an example of what success does to you. You really don't want your team to part with a 5th year pass rusher who got a total of 55 tackles (31 solo) and 5.5 sacks. That's perfectly fine, and the team seems unlikely to disappoint you in that regard. Colts fans, however, have shit all over 3rd year pass rusher Bjoern Werner and his 50 tackles (37 solo) and 4 sacks. Granted, Wilkerson has a longer history of being decent, but his tackling numbers last season were down a bit from his career average, though the sack numbers are the same. I just don't understand the massive divergence of fan reaction. Bear in mind that this is not a criticism of Wilkerson, the Jets, or their fans. This is a criticism of my fellow Colts fans. They can't all be Mathis or Freeney. Besides, I suspect that if Werner played in a 4-3 defense he would have performed better because his natural position is a 4-3 DE. He is a little big (i.e., not quick enough) to be a natural 3-4 OLB. That isn't to say he hasn't had his moments (during the short week last season where they played the Ravens on Sunday and the Texans on Thursday he had a two game total of 10 tackles, 3 sacks, and a FF), but he just has struggled to fit into the 3-4 system. Despite that, I don't get why so many people are ready to give up on him. I would love to see the Colts move him around a bit to see if his skills work better at a different position. Try him out in the rotation of one of the ILB positions (he is less likely to get overpowered by TEs and might hit HBs harder than Jackson did last season). He might be a undersized for it, but perhaps he could also move inside to one of the DE positions on obvious passing downs since he should be faster than the other DEs and might have better luck going through guards than he did going through tackles to get to the QB. I love how this long post started with "I see you don't want your player to leave" and ended with "how can the Colts best capitalize on what Werner brings to the table". I guess I just am not ready to give up on him. I guess really don't want him to be a repeat of Jerry Hughes, where the Colts give up on him and he goes somewhere else and becomes a solid player. If the Colts let him go, I suspect it would happen if he gets on a team with a 4-3 defense, especially if they already have an effective pass rusher to eat up any double teams that an o-line might use.

Dion Jordan getting a year-long suspension hurts the Phins, but not too much. They still have Wake and Vernon with Suh now. But you have to figure he had the potential to breakout playing with those guys.
