So the Titans now want 3 first rounders for the second pick. Rumor is that the Browns would do it.
No team can be that dumb

Is that too much of an asking price? Maybe not. Consider that the Bills moved from #9 to #4 last year to take Sammy Watkins. They sent the Browns two firsts (2014 and 2015) and a fourth (2015). That's what it cost last year to simply move up five spots. So if you're - let's say the Eagles - and want to move up 18 spots, it's not crazy to consider three firsts as an asking price.

I think the Titans here are basically saying you have to give them an offer they cannot refuse and they have to consider what the Redskins gave up for the #2 spot to get RG3 a few years ago. Titans want that type of deal if they are going to give it up and honestly, seeing how well it has worked in St. Louis so far as their defense is concerned, I wouldn't blame them for wanting that.

Using a first round pick on a 28 year old QB that needs some more time to work on his throwing mechanics actually isn't the dumbest thing they have done recently. That's saying something.

I don't think it is remotely fair to blame Shanahan for RG3's re-injury. First, he was cleared by team doctors. Second, he would never have played had Griffin himself felt he was not up to snuff. Third, if he had not gotten re-injured no one would have made too big of a deal about playing him. If your starting QB says he can play and was cleared by the team doctors, you play him unless your backup QB went on an epic tear while the starter was out (think Tom Brady taking over for an injured Drew Bledsoe).

I thought it was a bad call before he got hurt, and even before he got re-injured he wasn't moving right. It was so obvious that he wasn't healthy. Who cares what the doctors say and what he says. Shanahan needed to be a man and tell him to sit on the bench, instead of letting the hotshot rookie get himself destroyed.

Good god, this might be the best case of prospect stupidity ever. There have been dumb post-season DUIs, morons that fail the Combine drug test that everyone knows is coming. But this dumbass just had to avoid getting in trouble for another 4 or 5 days and he gets drafted. You can't get a fall guy to ride with you? Or lock the weed in the trunk? Or just not smoke for the week? Jesus. If you're dumb enough to be driving around with weed the week of the draft, you deserve to get busted and fall. This is not surprising considering the program that Mizzou has been running lately. You mean successful? Amazing how bitter people are because Mizzou proved the doubters wrong and actually fit in the SEC. This program also booted DGB for being an abusive dirtbag. I guess it's shocking that a football team actually has a few players on it that enjoy marijuana. What's the world coming to? All this does is probably land Shane Ray right in the laps of the New England Patriots while they laugh all the way home tonight.

Wouldn't be a bad spot for Ray either. That citation may have taken him from being selected by a shitshow like the Browns and put him onto a contending team.
If we want to talk about draft dumbasses, the conversation starts with La'El Collins. Being questioned in the death of your ex who happens to be 8 months pregnant isn't going to do much for your draft stock

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the NFL has rejected LSU G/T La'El Collins' request to be declared ineligible for this week's draft.

This afternoon: 3 first round picks 8 PM: 3 First round picks and a second round pick. with 2 minutes left on their draft clock: 3 first round picks, a second round pick, free pizza for life from Papa Johns, and 5 years of free blowjobs from Lisa Ann

I want to see the Titans start making outrageous demands. Like 3 first round draft picks AND getting spotted 21 points in any future games against said opposing team for the next 10 years, including playoff games and Superbowls.

Glazer is saying that multiple teams have said that unless they have a full police report totally clearing him - they won't draft Collins at all
