I like it. Wishlist for me: He goes to Dallas. He'll likely be there round 2, but hoping for round 3 where you pick in the order is pushing it. Duke Johnson would also be a good fit as a game-breaking RB. Abdullah is the more polished rusher, but given Johnson's speed and playmaking ability and the size of the holes that the Boys' O-line makes.....it seems like a hair of a better fit. But either really would bring their offense way back up from Joseph Randle. Who, while not bad, isn't the guy you want to get 15+ carries a game. Especially since he can't stop stealing underwear.

Way to go, douche, real smooth. And I think Mike Shaw is still alive and working as a bailiff in Massachusetts

Way to go, douche, real smooth. And I think Mike Shaw is still alive and working as a bailiff in Massachusetts Some news shows were saying that the prison is close enough to actually hear the crowds at Gillette Stadium on game day. That might qualify as cruel and unusual punishment.....and it is fitting as hell.

Bucs officials tell the Tampa Tribune that the civil lawsuit filed against Florida State QB Jameis Winston on Thursday will have "no effect" on their draft plans.
According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, Philip Rivers believes the Chargers are "not going to pay him."
Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports it's looking "stronger and stronger" that the Chargers will acquire Tennessee's No. 2 overall pick, and draft Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.
The Charlotte Observer's Joe Person suspects Cowboys RE Greg Hardy gets "at least" a six-game suspension for his Personal Conduct Policy violation.
Hardy missed all but one game last season, but was never formally suspended.

They have released the official stenographer's manuscript for the entire Hernandez trial: {Spoiler}
I didn't expect there to be that much singing, though.

ESPN reporter Britt McHenry has been suspended for going HAM on a tow truck attendant:
She even dropped a 'baby girl' on her...and she has half the brains the attendant does!

Well, Rivers is about to be reunited with Whisenhunt.

So let's say the trade goes down and Rivers lands with the Titans. How much better will Rivers make them?

So let's say the trade goes down and Rivers lands with the Titans. How much better will Rivers make them? Better then the Duck, in a system not suited to his playing style, while Rivers has shown he can excel in it. So maybe they wont become a playoff team just yet but they'll do better then 2-14

Yeah, the Titans are still missing a number of pieces even with Rivers. The Texans are still a better team top-to-bottom, and the Colts are still the class of the division. But they could end up 7-9. My question is, how much value does Rivers have? Does he alone make up the difference from 17 to 2? Because he's probably worth a late 1st by himself, even at his age. But the Skins kinda set the market value with the RGIII trade. Even though Mariota isn't the prospect Griffin was, there's a number of buyers for him. I guess it comes down to does Wisenhunt value Rivers over getting what he should for the pick.

I guess it comes down to does Wisenhunt value Rivers over getting what he should for the pick. If Rivers went to Houston they would be a serious playoff team, but they would not likely trade for him without the assurances he would resign with them. Tennessee at least is likely to resign Rivers if they trade for him and if he does they could be a playoff team within the next season or two. I don't know if he really is worth the #2 pick by himself, however. His age isn't that much of a deterrent since his game is accurate pocket passing, which means that barring any new injuries he should still be around for 5-7 years, but I imagine the Chargers would have to package their 2nd round pick this year and some future conditional pick with Rivers to make the deal happen.

Man, it'd be hilarious (and sad for Chargers fans) if they let another good quarterback go and the team he goes to wins the Superbowl.

I would love to see Rivers get traded. They've had a few really good opportunities to make it to the SB and totally blew it. Least they have that catchy disco tune!
