Seems less bad, and more totally generic. I’ll probably still find fun in it. Not the epic I was hoping for though It’s been hyped for two years, anything other than epic is a failure.

Yup. Played a little bit of Days Gone last night. Seems perfectly fine. Wasn’t feeling the bike controls, and if that doesn’t improve with upgrades it’s going to get rough.

I'm watching some gameplay from Days Gone and it's looking like a game I would very much enjoy. I might get it earlier than I thought and move it up on my list of what to play. Just want to beat God of War first.
Of course, I want to watch a little more gameplay (but not much to avoid spoilers) before making a definitive decision.

It took me hours, but I think I figured out who Deacon reminds me of... Mike from Until Dawn.

Days Gone is growing on me. It’s definitly the least polished of the PS Exclusives, and has its little quirks. But I like it.

Well, it looks like Days Gone will be a 'buy pre-owned, and only when it's on sale' game for me. That's a shame, it looked like it might be amazing. Fortunately, I still have ridiculous amounts of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey content to get through.

Playing Mass Effect Andromeda and perhaps it is just me but the crafting/research/development/levelling up menus etc systems seem just a tad overwhelming
I mean I’ve played the original trilogy and this just seems way too overcomplicated

Next week’s PS+ games are Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch.
Overcooked alone makes it worth it, it’s pretty goddamn fun.

I’ve heard great things about Overcooked.
And What Remains of Edith Finch is AMAZING. It’s a “walking simulator” type of game but mannn, the story is one of the best I’ve ever played through.

Poor month
Overcooked looks fun, but its muktiplayer. Walking sims are the dullest of games. Havent played one yet that was fun.

I didn’t get the hype for Edith Finch. I kept playing and expecting something to wow me... but it just never did.
Overcooked is fun.

Y’all were right with Yakuza Kiwami 1, it’s slow as f***. Well at least it was cheap.

The game is quite flawed... it doesn’t have the same polish as other PS Exclusives. The character’s mood changes (IM LOOKING AT YOU BOOZER) make little sense.
But even with that said, I’m enjoying the hell out of Days Gone. Especially Deacon. He’s a good character, and I’m excited to see what the rest of his journey holds.

Well just “completed” Mass Effect Andromeda
I put the completed in quotes because I left a whole bunch of side quests incomplete
I got to the last mission of the main quest line (which is shockingly short) and realised I had an overwhelming amount of the side quests incomplete so I wanted to do the majority of them and spent a good few hours trying to do so but the side quests just kept on coming and weren’t very interesting. I finally snapped and said f*** it after one where I started off on one planet, went to another to have a conversation and then went to another scanned something.....and that was it
Between playing this and Mafia 3 before it, really getting burned out on open world games, well ones that are completely hollow and filled with boring missions anyway
Definitely a missed opportunity with this game because I feel like the idea was a good one starting off in a new galaxy but they totally screwed the pooch in its execution (Even the terraforming the planets was boring because it took so long to do)

FFVII Remake news will be out in a month. So E3 I assume.

Again, the news they talked about on State of Play seemed intriguing but they NEED to shake stuff up with the format. You can’t just have trailer after trailer after trailer, you need to have something more at times.
You introduced two really intriguing indie titles, why not have the developers quickly talk about it or introduce the game themselves?
It also doesn’t help you’re not at E3 so this stuff should have more meat to it.
