I legit can’t even beat the first boss in Remnant and I’m a good player of Souls games. Constant randomly spawning minions and the boss randomly teleporting over the entire large two-story arena. It’s straight up unfair.
It’s a shame because I actually want to continue it and play the damn game. But I just can’t advance.

If I never played the original Final Fantasy VII, should I play that first before I play the remake or can/should I just jump right in on the remake?
I have the original on the PS Classic and was considering playing it on that otherwise.

The remake is a modern style action/RPG but if you like turn based and can deal with the graphical limitations, the original is one of the best loved games of all time for a reason.

I enjoy RPGs, but admittedly it's my least played genre. Can you please give me examples of the different styles of modern action/RPG vs original turn based? Which style was the first South Park 'Stick of Truth' game?

As someone who has no experience of the Final Fantasy series apart from playing the first 5 mins of the SNES classic game is 7 any good? The remake is very good. The original is an all-timer. FF jumps to a new story/cast nearly every game so you don’t have to worry about the lore and backstory of missing 6 other games. It’s all self-contained. Depends on what you are looking for. I didn’t play Stick of Truth so I can’t say what it is, but turn based is when you and the enemy are on opposite ends of the battlefield and you input your attacks/spells/etc manually from a menu and the battle plays out turn by turn. Live action you’re moving your team around, attacking, dodging, casting spells in real time. I personally like Real Time far more than turn based. Secret of Mana is an OG real timer. Dragon Age Inquisition is also real time. Persona5 would be a turn based.

This is a very random question but Does anyone know in Mortal Kombat 11 can you do AI vs AI matches. I don't mean the AI online thing that's in the game, but instead of player 1 vs AI or player 1 vs player 2 can you just watch AI vs AI matches? I believe it has something similar to injustice 2 in regard to AI vs AI. MKX had basic AI vs AI from what I remember.

Good/Bad News www.destructoid.com/stories/sony-is-in-the-process-of-restructuring-sony-japan-studio-621013.phtmlSony's internal Japanese studios have been going through a restructuring with many of its talents leaving to join or form other studios. The primary reason for their departure being that Sony wants their games to be made with more western/mainstream appeal. This is bad for obvious reasons but the silver lining seems to be that the restructuring involves most of the remaining manpower to be shifted to Team Asobi to make more Astrobot.

I dreamed that I found a PS5 at the meat section of the grocery store and bought it, but Michael Jackson came over to my house and wouldn't let me actually play it.

Decided to try No Man’s Sky again. I got dropped into a real winner of a galaxy to kickstart my PS5 character.
An icy death trap where I can’t stay outside of shelter for more than 2 minutes.
A desert death trap where I can’t stay outside of shelter for more than 2 minutes.
And finally a radiation death trap where I can’t stay out of shelter for more than 2 minutes.
If I could find a nice beautiful helpful healthy non/lethal planet to build a home base on and mine resources without having to run back and forth between outside and my shelter, I might actually enjoy myself.

I will forever state PS Now and PS Plus should be tied together
If you want to charge more for PS Plus fine but i'm not paying a whole separate fee to cloud games

All over the next 3 months, with the Binding of Issac’s final expansion (for real this time!) over on the Steam side as well. I’m going to be BUSY!
