PlayStation Stars has launched in North and South America, though for me the site's glitching up trying to join it.

That said early impressions seem to be that 1), everything is very costly without many ways to gain points, and 2), they outright advertise that customer support will prioritize higher-level members which seems like a gigantic red flag.

I suffered this in Yakuza 0 yesterday.

There's no autosave in the game, you have to go find a savepoint and it will also prompt you to save at the end of chapters. I was right at the end of the game, just before the point of no return before the final mission and just going round finishing off all the little extra bits that I hadn't done, which also allows you to improve your abilities.

Of course, I forgot to save much during this and came back to find hours just wiped out, which made the final bit of the game harder than it would have been since I wasn't doing it all again.

It's something I hate. Like, I should be the one to decide when I want to stop playing. I don't care if it allows for save spamming, sometimes I just need to quit my game then and there for whatever reason.

Plus autoupdate things. Hate them. Happens with my laptop too, if I leave it unattended for a while and it decides to update while I'm gone.

Now I know how it works, I am enjoying Deathloop a lot. Colt is a great protagnist, and it is a lot of fun discovering the world's secrets and gaining Colt's strength and powers and weapons.

Nioh is the one souls style game I can’t get into. The copious never/ending loot on top of the Souls style is too much for me.

Gonna definitely give it a try with the PS5 upgrade though.

Its specs are impressive but that price is going to be hard to swallow for most I think

I suppose I qualify as a VR enthusiast. I also already own a PS5.

However, I also already own a Quest 2 and a beefy-ass PC for VR. So this is a tough sell for me.

To make matters worse my decent Playstation VR library from being a plus subscriber is useless because it isn't backwards compatible. Some developers may do a free upgrade, but it's on a case by case basis.
