Code Vein was on the Xbox Game Pass and I never played it so that’s cool.

Is sort of interesting that Minecraft Dungeons is a on day PS+ game considering, a) that hasn’t happened in a good while and b) everything going on with Sony and Microsoft but it also don’t think it’s for me. But I get all the games anyway so I might give it a go if people recommend it.

Code Vein is anime Dark Souls. Cool if you’re into the genre. I’ll probably throw the other two into the library just because, but I can’t see myself ever bothering to DL Battlefield.

Never even played vanilla Minecraft, not into FPS games, and my experience with Souls games was I turned on Elden Ring and decided I loathed it and would never touch another within like 20 minutes so pretty much nothing for me this month. Though with Harvest Moon: Back to Nature on the PS5 that's probably all I'll play on it for the next month anyway so whatever.

Playing the demo of Wu Long; Fallen Dynasty … I think I’m just gonna kick my preorder money down to Resident Evil 4. It’s pretty much Nioh with a little dash of Sekiro, and as Nioh is my least favorite of the Soulslike games, and Sekiro is also near the bottom… it’s gonna be awhile before I buy this one. The only thing that has my attention is the new setting of the Three Kingdom’s crew.

I bought it but haven’t had time to actually start it yet. I did the registration thing that matched me as a Hufflepuff and hoping that it doesn’t stick when I play the game.

Different game, same developer, but I've been playing Wo Long and it's the epitome of mediocre. There are like 4 enemies in the game and it feels like a budget Sekiro where it's all about parrying and counters, and I didn't even like Sekiro but it was better than this game which is basically "press B/Circle to win." I think Koei Tecmo just can't do a good Soulslike game, and I've already been burned out on the genre for a few years now which doesn't help. I  do want to try Stranger of Paradise though, which I think they also did.

Finally gotten around to playing the Spider-Man DLC and holy shit the Spider-Man DLC f***ing sucks on every possible goddamn level. It's just absolutely infuriating how they just throw like 60,000 dudes at you in every fight, many of which have the most bullshit abilities in the game especially when paired with each other, and call it a day. Every encounter just drags on for a freaking month and is the exact antithesis of fun. It doesn't help how utterly worthless stealth is in the first game since after the first wave of enemies all subsequent ones always know exactly where you are at all times; I think the Miles game has areas where it's a step down but that's something it does muuuuch better.

Pretty much just wanting to finish this shit to get the skins and then absolutely never touch the DLC again.

Finally getting around to Horizon Forbidden West.

I forgot how much I loved this series.

Saw a Thunderjaw come around the corner with a yellow alert and about crapped my pants. I'm nowhere near back in the groove enough yet to try that.

My 6 yo saw the robot Pteranodon on the home screen and was curious so I showed him how I fight the robots. He loved it. My wife was not amused.

I thought the first one had some creative setpieces and more variety but yeah, the second one is just a gauntlet of long drawn out battles with countless mooks. I was hoping that it's the combat-focused one with the third being a bit different, but maybe not.
