Finally gotten around to playing the Spider-Man DLC and holy shit the Spider-Man DLC f***ing sucks on every possible goddamn level. It's just absolutely infuriating how they just throw like 60,000 dudes at you in every fight, many of which have the most bullshit abilities in the game especially when paired with each other, and call it a day. Every encounter just drags on for a freaking month and is the exact antithesis of fun. It doesn't help how utterly worthless stealth is in the first game since after the first wave of enemies all subsequent ones always know exactly where you are at all times; I think the Miles game has areas where it's a step down but that's something it does muuuuch better. Pretty much just wanting to finish this shit to get the skins and then absolutely never touch the DLC again. I thought the first one had some creative setpieces and more variety but yeah, the second one is just a gauntlet of long drawn out battles with countless mooks. I was hoping that it's the combat-focused one with the third being a bit different, but maybe not. Yeah, the first and third I thought were mostly okay, but the second is just infuriating. It's kind of not too bad when you get in the habit of, "Just spam the Electro Web, all the time, always," but having never really needed it in the main game that wasn't really intuitive and it was still far from fun the way every part just labors on and on. It also just feels badly written honestly? Like the whole first part is about Black Cat and how she relates to this whole drama and then she just vanishes from the plot except to turn up for two seconds in part 3 to give Peter some advice he could've probably figured out on his own. To say nothing of how much they just completely ruin Yuri from the main game to the DLC. Do think the DLC's version of Sable is a lot more entertaining than the main game's, I'll grant. |

Going to have to make a smart business decision
Just got my PS5 back. Will mostly likely wait to buy RE4 when I come back from Mania. Same with Hogwarts Legacy
I really just won't have the time to dig into both like I want. I will probably buy MLB the Show tho cause that's a pick up and play

The biggest argument against playing Dreams is the bullshit intro you have to go through every time you restart the game. I don't care about the creation part, just let me play the damn games!

Been playing Hogwarts: Legacy.
So much to do, all of it silly busy work, but it's one of those games that has all the icons on the map, and so you cant help trying to clear them.
Loving it though, whizzing about on a broom feels great.

Hey, so pardon my ignorance on this, but I'm finally ready to take the plunge on buying a PS5 but I want to make sure it's one that can play blus and dvds.
Can all of them play discs except for the ones marked "digital?" Or should I be on the look out for specific models?

At some point they put Spider-Man Remastered up as its own release and made it so you can upgrade to it from the original for $10. Been kind of long wanting to get it but not to drop the $20 on it through the Miles upgrade so sprung for it when I saw that option.

Digital edition  Standard Edition  |

Even when PS5's were harder to find we'd have the few digital in the shop for days when the disk versions would sell out within minutes. on the other hand The Series S however seems more popular than the X that might just be because we get more S Shipments. |

Granted I mostly bought the Series S as a holdover kind of thing because I didn't know when exactly I'd get the PS5, ended up getting it about three months later. Still probably use the Xbox more than the PS5 though honestly. |
