Just saw Skull & Bones reviews are out and it doesn't sound good lol
How can it be possible to f*** that up? Everybody was saying "you know, we'd love more Assassin's Creed Black Flag"
Literally all they had to do was take Black Flag, remove the Assassin's Creed elements, add a new storyline about pirates and called it a day. That is all people wanted.

And there's no swashbuckling? Great job.

Some months ago on the PS Plus monthly games they had Lego Harry Potter collection remastered for the PS4. I never had any immediate plans to play them but I figured they were free, why not, so I downloaded them but never played them. The other day I saw them there and decided to give them a quick play. They’re extremely easy (obviously because they’re mainly aimed at a younger player) and they’re pretty buggy too. And just insanely fun to play! And the cutscenes are so charming as well. I’d never played any of the Lego games before but having seen my nephews playing one of the games, always thought there was something to them. I’m not going to rush out and get any more of the games or anything but when I only have a half-hour or so spare to play a game, the call of Lego Harry Potter is strong. The first Lego Marvel game remains my favourite of the Lego series, really fun to co-op with a niece, nephew, son, daughter etc.

I've never played the Harry Potter ones, but I am a fan of the Lego games in general. Completely agree about them being just pure fun, but they did lose a bit of their charm when they switched over to voice acting for the cutscenes.

That's pretty much every Traveller's Tales Lego game in a nutshell. Fun, yet most of 'em are buggy and never get fixed. The original Lego Marvel Superheroes freezes if you play too long, Marvel Superheroes 2 has softlock and freezing issues...

Got Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate and One Piece World Seeker on the PS Store Are the One Piece games good? I have always seen them on PS Store, and enjoy the Manga. But never bothered to play one of the games. I guess because I never see them get mentioned and they always fly under the radar, I have always assumed them to be cheap quick cash-ins.

I have One Piece Odyssey and it's pretty solid. Turn based rpg and they really nailed each characters special moves and whatnot. Story feels like a filler movie but nothing bad about it really.

Also, someone on Odyssey's development team was apparently a huge fan of the Bananawari concept as there is like 10 variants of the damn thing.

Decided to give Pacific Drive a download, it seems quite interesting.
And a game called The Chant which is on sale and gives me Resident Evil crossed with The Quarry/Until Dawn vibes.

Don't bother buying Pacific Drive.
10 minutes in, had to restart my game because of a game breaking bug. For f*** sake, do they even bother testing games nowadays?

I got the 2nd Lego Marvel game for my son on Switch and it's a mess, constant framerate issues and regular glitches

Hi-Fi RUSH comes to the PlayStation on March 19. Grounded is April 16th. Man, between WWE 2K, Battlefront collection, and college football coming out in the summer, I'm gonna have to wait to get Grounded on sale.

Gave Pacific Drive more of a chance.
Great concept, but full of too many annoyances that stop it being fun. Like the menus too cluttered with crap that I can't find what I need. And one of my pet hates in gaming--not being able to save when I want. And the gaps between save spots are huge. You can onyl save at HQ, but if you're out doing a mission in the wilderneess--you can't save, meaning huge progress is lost if you have to go out or to bed and turn off your PS5.
Shame, because the concept is really good.

I’m now playing FF7 OG in addition to FFXVI to beat before I allow myself to get FF7pt2.
I don’t remember a single thing about that game except that I hear it once upon a time, and roughly remember the end cutscene.

A pretty shit month.
I hate when they put a sport game on. They are so niche because unless you are a fan of the sport, you aren't going to enjoy it.
