A small program that I just thought of a little bit that I'd like to see (in WWE - so extremely unlikely)
Joe debuts as a monster, winning squash matches ala Ryback. One of the jobbers he eventually beats, who puts up the most fight is Lance Anoa'i. After the match Joe destroys Anoa'i. A couple of weeks later, at old school Raw Joe sneak attacks Rikishi. Beats him down badly also...Usos make the save. Joe has a program for a few months with the Usos. He wins the feud. Maybe he injures one, and then attacks the other after the match. - Enter Roman Reigns - Joe claims that he has been targeting the Anoa'i family for the simple reason that they run a monopoly on wrestling. He was never able to "make it" because he wasn't a member of their family. Maybe he is able to sneak attack the Rock at some comeback as well.
Eventually Reigns wins in NY/CHI/PHI. Crowd boos.....

So, this is Dixies major announcement? Actually her announcement was catering was down to a case of Sam's Choice Diet Cola and a package of store brand Moon Pies for each block of tapings. This is just a consequence of that announcement.

Lucha Underground would be the place for him for two reasons.
1: His wrestling style fits with the show, and he's used to wrestling high flyers. So Joe could really go all out. 2: The wrestlers' paying homage to their tribal/cultural backgrounds would work with his character. He could even bring back his elaborate Samoan entrance.
Ever since watching like the first three episodes of LU, I've wanted Joe to go there. He could come in as Dario's enforcer or something. He'd certainly have a better push there than wwe.

Wow, I remember that entrance and how it made Joe look like such a huge star with the crowd and Tenay and West eating it up.

I'd love to see him do a tour of the UK. He got a slight look at some of what the UK has to offer wrestling wise during British Bootcamp. The thought of him against people like Mastiff, Damo, Joe Coffey and others is salivating.

My heart was all a flutter upon learning this. I always hoped Joe would free himself. For all the time spent in TNA losing everything that made him special I know the moment he steps foot in ROH it's gonna be electric again.

I believe I've said on this forum before that by the end of this year you'll have 5-6 main event guys (Abyss, Storm, Roode, MVP, Hardy, Angle) maybe 10 midcarders who have no other options (Robbie, Jessie, Melendez, Crazy Steve etc) and an undercard filled with independent guys nobody has seen ever. I could see Aries being gone in 2015 and I think Lashley will leave to focus on MMA. January 2016 will be even more lacking of stars then it is today. As for Joe himself he will make an absolute killing on the indies and I see an ROH return in his future. Throw in semi regular NJPW dates and Joe will be back to his old self destroying people and putting on great matches. Great for Joe, great for the fans, bad for TNA.Pretty much believe this is how they'll look by the end of the year. But, anything bad for TNA is good for the rest of the wrestling industry. I hope Joe can shed a few pounds, and he'll be given a hero's welcome in ROH. However, as for TNA, they already have 5 more weeks of TV tapings and a buttload of PPVs with him, so I expect his disappearance to be mentioned in passing... or in true TNA fashion, not at all.

TNA used to be the place you go to watch guys like Joe, Daniels, AJ tear the building down. Now it's got main events with Tommy Dreamer.
f*** this company.

TNA will just replay the video of Samoa Joe being kidnapped by the fat, jorts wearing ninjas to explain Joe's disappearance.

Do you expect the product to get any better?

Sadly, it might be 6 to 7 years too late for Joe. My hope is that he could get signed to NXT like Rhino is, and maybe try and get over there.
That, or he could be another name in ROH and have dream matches there for a little bit.

He, like Richards, seems to be a guy that doesn't mind burning a bridge or two and I was certain that he could only take TNA shit for so long ... apparently not. I guess he likes constantly having a World Title briefcase.
