Can we just call Kalisto up so I don't have to see a bored guy in Sin Cara cosplay anymore. He's clearly not happy. I love watching Sin Cara in that situation. Kallisto will start doing the Lucha arm thing, so Sin Cara will begrudgingly start doing it too. After a few seconds, Sin Cara will look over at Kallisto, like "can we stop now?" Then, they get in the ring, and they have to do it again, and I swear I can hear Sin Cara sighing through the screen as he steps behind Kallisto and joins in. Their whole vibe gives me the impression that Kallisto is this irritatingly energetic, reckless, young go-getter, and Sin Cara is in the Murtaugh "too old for this shit" phase of his career.

Kendrick and Balor was cut by several minutes for whatever reason according to people who attended the taping. It was a far better match live too apparently.

And it is STILL the most charisma Hunico has ever shown.

The "you have to make a choice" thing is complete BS and is one of the reasons I didn't care much for Riley's commentary run. Why can't he be both when WWE has so many hours of programming? It isn't that hard to have him commentate on the shows he isn't wrestling and wrestle on the shows he isn't commentating on. If WWE had actually done that, then maybe he would've had more to offer to commentary and you people wouldn't hate him so much. Headdesk.

It kills me (in a good way) that some of you guys have gotten so twisted over Riley proclaiming wrestlers like Itami and Balor need to prove themselves in WWE.
Never-was wrestler with an inflated ego IS his heel commentary gimmick. He works you guys like mules every week.

If you watch Lucha Underground, Sin Cara and Kalisto really pale in comparison. I know obviously Lucha Underground matches are much more heavily edited but they end up looking less impressive and they never wrestle other high fliers. It would have been cool to see Kalisto against Adrian Neville or someone but I doubt we're getting that on NXT.

It's stupid and distracting. He's great at being obnoxious, but why have that obnoxious a character blabbing away throughout an entire show?

Never-was wrestler with an inflated ego IS his heel commentary gimmick. He works you guys like mules every week. They never really established him as that though. He just randomly started doing it while still being that inexplicably popular wrestler that no one ever sees. And now he's feuding with Owens instead of feuding with Zayn, Itami, or Balor so he's back to being a face, only now he's less popular because they made him annoying as shit for no real payoff.

YES! exactly. Headdesk. Maybe because he absolutely sucks at one of those things. This is a great way to get him away from commentary forever and ever. His absence automatically makes it a better program. Let him wrestle, I would like to see if (as you claim) he's actually improved. Also I want to see Owens destroy him. He has a face that just screams "hit me".

TBK added to roster page! Yes! I was wondering if he would be too or if it was a one off thing.
So many potentially awesome matches he can have with these guys

Watching TBK vs Balor now, so happy to hear Owens on commentary, just him being on commentary is a flashback to me whenever he would commentate PWG. Always great to have him at the announce table, no matter what the company

proof that all 3 of those guys on commentary were awful. You got Owens being himself and none of those guys could even try to banter with him. Imagine it was raw in 98 and you'd have King agreeing with him and JR arguing while calling the match, this was just odd and awkward.
thank good he came back and killed Riley, too bad he didn't take out the other 2

So many potentially awesome matches he can have with these guys I hope that's a good sign, because... {Spoiler}He didn't appear at the last tapings. I hope there's a backstage promo or something. And yeah, Kalisto is the least impressive of the big-name signings to this point. Not his fault, though.

Of course they're not gonna have a back and forth with a guy who gives them the death glare any time they try to engage a conversation. It was obviously designed this way.

I don't think I've mentioned how much I like Bayley's er... wave thing at the crowd during her entrance. I'm undecided if I like the crowd posing along with Finn but I'm leaning towards it looking cool if the production team find the right angle shoot it from proof that all 3 of those guys on commentary were awful. You got Owens being himself and none of those guys could even try to banter with him. Yep most of his backstage interviews have gone much the same way, Owens usually makes things uncomfortable and awkward before walking off.

The Brian Kendrick is shown in the preview thumbnail for this episode. Spoilers much? No... because he was announced last week.

I hope Riley succeeds in NXT as a wrestler again. Me too. IPart of me thinks that Riley is going to take over Regal's spot as the "final boss" of NXT (his reward for paying his dues and eating shit for so long). He'd be a good guy to help carry the NXT brand once most or all of the big indy/international guys move up. He's not a technical machine, far from it, but you can tell the guy truly loves wrestling and works hard on his craft.

Finished watching a few points
Points 1 - 9 - F*** you Becky Lynch
Now that I've got that out of the way, loved the Kendrick video, I absolutely loved the looks Owens was giving Riley, I just keep thinking "Man I am so glad I'm not Riley right now". I just love Owens character so much, I keep in switching between "Well it's understandable" to "You are scum". That's what I really love about NXT too, it gets me so invested in it that it feels real again
I am gutted Dillijordan have split up, plus who will job in the tag division now?
I really liked the crowd doing the thing with Bailey during her entrance, same with Balor it really makes him such a big deal, missed most of his entrance since I use that time to grab a snack ha (Though I did mute during Bailey vs Lynch, the duelling chants were just too much)
One last note, what was it? Oh yeah f*** you Becky Lynch

Kevin Owens is totally in the running to win the Brock Edward Lesnar Man of the Year Award for 2015, but we're not even half through the year yet so anybody can step up.
The Brock Edward Lesnar Man of the Year Award winner for 2014, Brock Lesnar, is still a dark horse candidate though.
