{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} BONKERS LIVES! No character voice for him, just grunt noises, but he's finally confirmed. The Rescue Rangers feel your pain. I mean...the Rescue Rangers only got the amount of time they did because the team basically pushed what they could get away with since there's a Rescue Rangers movie being made.

Yeah, they got love, still I'd have loved them to have proper speaking roles and such. (and now I see I might get my wish, look over at the latest on the Disney+ thread...) Now, if DuckTales finds a role for Shnookums and Meat...

Let's Get Dangerous
Wow this episode lived up to the hype. Great to see what Dawkwing has been up to. And good to know he is keeping his secret identity as well as Gizmoduck. Though Drake is too dense to know Gizmo's identity.
Great to meat Gozalyn, she is the perfect little sidekick for Dawkwing She is like a cross between Robin and Penny from Inspector Gadget. How did she find out Drake was an actor is beyond me, but perhaps I am over thinking things.
Bulba is great crazy villain, to crazy for even Fowl. I liked that even Fowl has their limits on insanity.
So we are the half way point of season 3, and our heroes finally know about Fowl, granted in a dumb way, but that is okay.
I wonder when we will see Darkwing and Gozalyn, and I am bummed the Fearsome Four went back to their dimension
Also I think Owlsen will be a good foil for Darkwing. Could be like the relationship that Drebin and the mayor had in the Naked Gun. I wonder if that is what the show is going for.
Anyway so much to process here, this was a top notch episode.

Well that was every type of awesome. Yet the only thing I can think of is that I'm sad that Gozalyn dressed up as The Bugmaster instead of Splatter Phoenix.

Holy deep dive with the Fluppy Dogs reference. Now I'm convinced there will be a Schnookums and Meat reference eventually (maybe a Pith Possum reference in a future Darkwing episode?)

Actually, considering some of the fan theories I've heard, I'd rather Bug Master show up in future FOWL episodes.

Disney has posted last night's episode (probably just for US people only) so if it's any indication.

We have to face some trouble so it is time..."Let's Get Dangerous!"
-Basically a huge shout-out to all the fans of Darkwing Duck in this two-part episode, introducing Gosalyn (who has every bit of spunk that she had in the original show while still being portrayed a bit deeper...seriously, that breakdown after saving reality which in turn destroyed any chance of getting her grandfather back, brought me close to tears) and also giving a reason for Launchpad to be involved in any future Darkwing episodes (how close are St. Canard and Duckburg anyhow?). Also like that we essentially got a new member with Wanda and getting a reason for how Darkwing got all this gear (especially his deduction that Fenton doesn't like Gizmoduck).
-Gotta love that they brought the Fearsome Four as the DW villains for this episode including doing a bit of a different take on Taurus Bulba (really like that the scar is in the same area where his cyborg form in the original show had an artificial eye). That they chose that design for Bushroot made sense considering that from what I remember, Bushroot was among the more sympathetic villains in the original show which wouldn't have worked with the tone they were going for here. They also kept Liquidator's advertising speeches to a minimum which was good as well. Also loved LP and Gosalyn dressing up as lesser villains in the DW canon to gain access (while I remember Jambalaya Jake, I cannot recall Bugmaster at all. The only bug-themed villain I remember was the one who worked that minigolf course and controlled ants).
-On the Ducktales side of things, I enjoyed the escape involving the nephews and one of the FOWL heads and their interactions as well as Gosalyn's and Dewey's (especially Gosalyn's non-plussed reaction to Dewey's pun-ishments). Highlight was the gag with the classic "Sea Monster Ate My Ice Cream" as well as Uncle Scrooge not finding the right button at the beginning to end the phone call. So, things will be interesting that Uncle Scrooge and the boys now know about FOWL's existence.
-I am surprised that Owlson went into politics instead of building her own conglomerate like McDuck and Glomgold have. I guess she figured running a city is kinda like running a business?
-Last, I really loved the well-animated action scenes and also the dramatic moments involving Gosalyn and Darkwing and I wouldn't mind seeing future episodes with them.
-Overall, a highlight of Season 3, for sure.

"Make money from home by having your home destroyed ask me how!"
Also nice way to sneakily add Bonkers into the universe now.
edit: also bringing up Justice Ducks episodes... is weird cause... Gizmo Duck is one of them... so how does that work exactly >_>

Or Negaduck for that matter.

I still it is possible that Jim Starling aka Negaduck is Drake's father. And if we meet Honker, his mom is totally Gabby Stabbershen.

Along those lines of connection, while The Bugmaster was an in universe Darkwing show character, I could see another being inspired by the show like Drake.
Especially since the original Bugmaster's real last name was Beakley. Black sheep of the family?

Considering what this show referenced before, I would have laughed if they did a joke like that as well (though this would only work if the DW TV show in universe actually had a Negaduck):
Taurus: "Ah, now I have assembled all of the greatest villains: Bushroot, Megavolt, Quacker Jack, Liquidator and, of course, the most vile of them all... One of the villains: "You mean Negaduck?" Taurus: "No...Wolfduck!" All other villains: "...who?"
