Basically, Boba Fett survived by blasting his way out of the Sarlacc Pit. He continued to work as a bounty hunter while at the same time holding a rivalry with Solo. He was rescued and nursed back to health by Dengar. Without his help he would've died. The fact is, in the movies Boba Fett never once does anything to deserve his reputation as a badass. In II he's a little kid. In IV he walks across the screen for 2 seconds(ooh scary!). In V he does track Han and the Falcon, but let's Vader do all the dirty work. In VI he gets accidentaly knocked in the Sarlaac pit by a blind man. Touche!

Boba is really excelent in the expanded universe, the way he handles IG-88 for example really shows how much a bad ass he really is

I've never read anything in the expanded universe, but I still think Boba Fett is a total badass. So it can't be the EU that makes him seem so cool. Maybe it is his silent side or the fact he is an intergalactic bounty hunter.
My vote still goes to Vader though. I know he lost alot of steam in the prequels, but if you think about it, Anakin and Vader were two different people. That NOOOOOOOO!! was the last time Anakin exsisted until the very end of VI. Well thats my take anyway.

Anakin Skywalker from Phantom Menace He wasn't a villain; he was just annoying. The only thing that saved him from being the worst part of the film was Jar Jar Binks.

Erisi Dlarit >>>> Everyone else ;D Grand Admiral Thrawn, Admiral Daala, Ysanne Isard and Darth Sion are pretty cool as well tho' Oh and General Grevious Clone Wars verison was a bad ass, it sucks how dumbed down he, and his robot troops for that matter, were in episode 3 Is that where you got your name? From a two-bit spy/pilot who only appeared in 4 books (of only 1 she was portrayed as a sort-of villian)? Did you like her death scene? Rather anticlimatic for a character, no?

Revenge of the Sith completely raped General Grievous's character. Grievous is my favourite for overall badass.
But you gotta give props to Palpatine, mastermind behind the entire Star Wars saga.

Rather anticlimatic for a character, no? Shes not dead, since her Interceptor didn't explode I assume she stayed there untill after the battle and was rescued. She then went on to have a colourful carrer in the unknown regions. Thats how my fan fics go anyway ;D I'm pretty hard core about her, hell I even got a tattoo that says "Erisi". Something about reading those books made me love her, shes funny, and evil and all that. I guess I have a thing for rich, beautiful girls who if they don't get their way kill people, Erisi rules ;D Hmm, guess thats why I like Daala and Isard as well, Imperial girls are awsome

Of the women listed, though, the only one that I thought of as truly evil was Isard.

George Lucas is the biggest villain in all of the Star Wars universe.
