I think the internet would rather this happen: Seth Rollins comes out with tears in his eyes. Seth: This isn't right! I am surrendering my Money in the Bank contract to the new Intercontinental champion, Daniel Bryan! Go cash it in, D-Bry! *Bryan walks down, kicks Lesnar and Rollins in the face simultaneously and pins both men in the middle of the ring* I dunno about that. Rollins and Bryan are the two favs on the opposite sides, smarks appreciate a good heel too. Bryan is the #1 fav for sure, but I've seen nothing but enthusiasm for Seth cashing in. A cash-in during the match could be cool, but I think it would be even better during the winner's celebration. But I'll take either, will be glorious.

The MITB contract is a dumb angle. It prevents a strong #1 contender being built up, because in theory, the holder doesn't have to do shit for a year. They can literally just wait and do nothing until the champion is in a weak position. It's like something from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Hey, you have a golden ticket! Normally I would agree with you because normally the Money in the Bank holder is, as you said, literally doing nothing important until it's time to cash in. In this case though Seth Rollins has been the top heel in the WWE since the summer. He has been the top heel in every top program since them and probably would've gotten a title reign already if anybody other then Brock "Four Matches a Year" Lesnar was champion. He is a strong number one contender. He's been with the Authority throughout that time, so why would he need the contract? What would have stopped Stephanie and HHH simply naming him #1 contender?

Can be cashed in at any time Interesting...so do you think that would result in a Lesnar/Reigns DQ ending or the match would continue, but not for the title? As in Rollins cashes in. Wins title. Then after he leaves, Reigns vs Lesnar continues with no title on the line? That's why I think a great heel move would be to have an iron man match for the WWE Title. The challenger (who has been chasing the title for a while but just keeps falling short) has tied up the match as time expires in regulation and has momentum on his side. After time expires, it is announced that the match will go into sudden death over time following a three minute rest period. During the rest period, Mr. MiTB clocks the challenger with the briefcase, cashes in and beats the champ for the title all during the rest period. When the rest period ends, the match continues and the challenger defeats the now ex-champ to win the match, but not the title.

I hate that idea. What is wrong with Reigns losing? They can easily have Reigns lose and then keep hum off tv for two months and then bring him back a little repackaged(new ring gear and music) and he will be hot again. They just need the right angle for when he cones back.

My brother thought of this awhile back. Both men are out cold, Rollins comes in, cashes in, Lesnar/Reigns wake up and continue the bout. Reigns pins Lesnar with the help of the Rollins, ref raises the hand of the Reigns, and the Rollins raises Reigns' other hand, and they both have the title in that hand. Fade to black.
Works better if Reigns is a comedy heel, like Mizdow. Where he goes weeks thinking he's the champion, not knowing Rollins has the belt.
Goes into a stipulation where Reigns and Rollins would fight. If Rollins wins, he gets to pick when the next title match is, if Reigns wins, he get to pick when the next tile match is. Win/win for Rollins as he either wins and picks his title match date, or Reigns wins and never picks a date since he's the "champion" in his eyes.
