This one is definitely going to miss Kurt Angle so badly
Wish he could sign a deal with 2K and not have it be a breach of contract.
Edit- Judging by the upcoming release of Owen Hart's doc DVD by WWE. He'll be the very last person revealed as a surprise.

If Owen Hart doesn't make it in, then you miss a moment of importance in Austin's 1997. Would be sad, but it could be expected.
Most of the Austin/Angle stuff happened post Mania 17, IIRC...I could see them skipping that.

I'm not sure how Cactus Jack/Dude Love will fit under the "no duplicate" thing since they and Mankind are all acknowledged on-screen as alter-egos of the one guy (Mick Foley)... I'll just count them on the graphic as Foley. *shrug* (Also, you know what this likely means... Old Nation vs New Day) As I explained it when I predicted all three would be in the game, they are different personas, not duplicates of the same character. When they said "no duplicates" they meant that 1996 Stone Cold and 1998 Stone Cold would not count as two characters since they are the same character/gimmick/name/etc. Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love are not the same character, so they aren't duplicates. |

Also mind you that they're not counting the different "versions" of characters in the roster so that means we can have DX Billy Gunn, The One Billy Gunn and also multiple Kane so, damn. Who from 1996-2001 are we truly missing from Austin's stories besides Pillman and Bulldog? Kurt Angle and Hardcore Holly And now I feel sad knowing we'll never get to re-create that Armageddon HIAC match  |

Cactus, Mankind, Dude Love all have three seperate renders. So I guess they're counting them as different characters, therefore they're seperate.
I think 2K meant we're not getting CM Punk '13-'14 and CM Punk '11-'12 any time soon this year.
