I'm bringing this thread back in the hope that someone can help me with something. Well, not just me, actually. You see, I was watching some old Ashens videos and remembered he mentioned bootleg Tekken action figures he had before he was making videos but has since gotten rid of. He says the packaging called them something like "Dragon Fighters", they had a yellow packaging and there was a Yoshimitsu figure who inexpicably had a stick with a skull on it instead of his katana and King had a silver rifle. And apparently, they were widely sold in Poundland back in the days. Does anyone know what he may be talking about and possibly have pictures of it? Also, just to actually contribute something new to the thread, I give you this beauty: It looks like that white shell is censoring his crotch, which is slightly worrying. If I'm not mistaken, that's Warduke's shield from the mid-80s Dungeons and Dragons toy line. The little troll figurine packed in with him (look closely behind the sword) is also from that line. Guessing the sword is too. Such odd choices to recast and bootleg.

Wait, is that figure actually there. Or is he drawn on the card? I'm seeing how it could be either.

because he dared to dream and never stopped believing. I'll be honest - I love the insanity of true bootlegs, but I can't stand this current trend in kit-bashed "specialty" figures like this one that are popping up all over the 'net the last few years. Some guy taking the head of one figure, putting it on the body of a completely different type of figure, re-casting it and selling 200 of them at $40-60 a pop just doesn't appeal to me.

Alien Man is a shining example that if you keep a positive attitude, you too can have an inner mouth and acid for blood.

That's a thing? I didn't realize.

Yeah. I mean, they're still technically bootlegs, but they're done as collector item "gourmet" things.

That is the look of something that hasn't slept in decades and is wishing for the sweet release of death.
