At there any websites that sell these toy? Specifically the wrestlers and super heroes? My dollar stores dont have good selections. Pretty much just a set of rey mysterio and dos caras rip offs that come with a chainsaw

Remco used the same mold for their AWA wrestlers as their MOTU rip offs. Only the chest. The wrestlers had different arms (lacking gauntlets), legs (with modern boots) and crotches (trunks instead of loincloths). I'd hesitate to call Remco's MOTU knock-off lines "bootlegs", as they technically weren't. They didn't rework actual MOTUs into their molds, they just made extremely similar ones independently in order to compete. |
