I'm really growing to hate those Power Ranger and Masked Wrestler molds. At least with the old 80s "He-Man" style figure bootlegs and knockoffs, they'd switch around parts and give them new heads and stuff to keep some variety going. These are just a thousand of the same figure with the color schemes being the only difference.

About two months ago, I found one of those bootleg wrestlers will the telltale loincloth mold imprint in a donation bin at work.
I do have a photo as proof.

I've already made up a theme song for "Super Powerful Super Heroes" in my head.

Personally I love those generic molds. They can easily be repainted to become whatever character you want to create for your various collections.

It'd be cool if the Aircraft Warriors have their own 747 that they use as a mobile base.

How does that get back into circulation thou? Is it lazy employees? You've clearly not returned the product so how do they get money back? As an example, I had to return a keyboard and placed the wrong one in the box. Despite them being nearly identical they pointed out I had the wrong item.

Lazy/unattentive employees, employees who don't know the product or even employees who are in on it. It's been a major scourge of action figure retail at big box stores for the last 5-10 years, especially since the build-a-figure concept has caught on.

As a non collector doesn't the fact it's been removed from the package kill a large portion of potential value down the road? I mean of youre going to play the with actual toy that's cool, but I figure most people hold these for either display or future value. Also, if you're going to try to get away with returning a superhero oxide doesn't including a giant florescent bike kinda scream out ?

I find it amazing that kid-me would see these and say: "These toys suck shit and I feel sorry for the poor bastard that gets them" ; and yet adult-me says: "These toys suck shit so much I must buy them"

I mean of hours going to play the with actual toy that's cool, but I figure most people hold these for either display or female value. The build-a-figures changed everything. While previous thieves just stole the whole thing outright to have in-package items, build-a-figures aren't very attractive in-package, since they're just pieces scattered throughout five or six other packages. Not wanting to get busted by some mall cop, they just buy the figure now, get the build-a-figure piece out and put something else random about equal its size in its place. Sometimes they switch the whole thing out just because, or so that they can "troll" the store/other shoppers.

Seriously, is that like a really cheap public domain mould that knock-off merchants can get their hands on for bugger-all or something? Why does it seem like they all have it and all sue it for everything? Also, I'm very curious about where it originally comes from, because it's not even a good sculpt to begin with.
