When you buy these bootlegged games what’s actually in the game content ? I bought some of those Plug and Play joysticks for the kids over 10 years ago. -I had the Namco Arcade, had Pac-man, Galaxians, Dig Dug, Pole Position, etc. -A Disney Princesses one, which was just knockoffs of old NES games with Princesses as the main characters. -And this completely unnamed one which had 100 games, 10 of them were just each separate event in the NES Track & Field game.

That, uhm...that's not a bootleg. That's a fully-licensed piece of '60s/70s pure cheese made by Marx Toys and completely authorized by Marvel.

I love the big "Tortoise" sticker on his chest, just in case you forgot what animal he is.

Can't find any picture of it, but anyways, I remember having this kinda bulky handheld console as a kid. Wasn't mine, but I got it from a relative.
So, based on what I remember of it, the handheld console was some sort of bootleg version of the Entex Adventure Vision. Basically it had a similar design to it. What I had only had one game, which is apparently Defender, and there were no cartridges. I'm not even sure it was Defender... but looking at youtube vids it was sorta similar to the one I remember playing - except instead of a monochrome red screen, it was kinda bright green.
Also, not quite a bootleg, but I once had a Sega (a Megadrive... I think. It was pretty much just called a Sega back then), and I had a Street Fighter 2 cartridge. One thing about that is that somehow Mario was playable. He looked different from the other characters. Drives me nuts that I can't find a single thing about that one as well.

I've seen Brad Jones wear one a few times now, as the Cinema Snob & on Midnight Screenings that and a very perplexing Frasier shirt where it appears that Frasier is tearing Niles apart

Guessing this is more of a headswap than a bootleg, but still raised a chuckle.

Thor was popular, and I am sure the others had some equivalent or the licenses tied up in some other merch. Alternatively, Thor just wanted a bitchin' awesome pink Vespa.

I had plans to post the Thanos saxophone, but I think it's a real toy.

Phelous has a great series of bootleg toy videos. However, I never wanted any of those given the really crappy quality of most bootlegs.
Until I heard of the bootleg NECA turtles knockoff and this bad boy here:

So, why would Marx pick a character who can actually fly? I could see Captain America or even Hulk or Spidey, but Thor? I mean, it protects him from Kryptonite, but it's the same thing, really. Popular characters get vehicles they wouldn't ever have much reason to use, with or without a flimsy excuse. They, sorta, got this into the 90s cartoon, but they sadly eliminated the weird arms.
