Recovered three of my old ones from a storage unit after 20 years and after really wanting to start collecting again (in large part thanks to Phelous' Galaxy Hole videos), they were the ignition I needed to jump back in. So far this is what I've amassed: (excuse the poor image, my camera has something wrong with it and can't take a clear picture anymore)

boot leg clothing! Trust me, where I work, they sell a lot of stuff like that. Like Duck Dynasty beards, only we have to call them something else.

"Female Captain America"? Really? It's like calling Xena "female Hercules".

"Female Captain America"? Really? It's like calling Xena "female Hercules". At least Xena and Hercules would be from the same franchise. And really..."female Captain America" is how they skirt around the Wonder Woman trademark? By using another trademark, owned by an even bigger company than the one they were trying to get around?

I finally found one of these things. In one of the many attempts to market Trolls to boys in the 90s there were these bootlegs that used the Remco/Warlord body with a Troll head stuck onto it. This particular one also doubles as a Terminator knock off as well. 3 knock offs in 1! He-Man/Trolls/Terminator.

And really..."female Captain America" is how they skirt around the Wonder Woman trademark? By using another trademark, owned by an even bigger company than the one they were trying to get around? It's especially silly since one would figure "AMAZONIAN" or "AMAZON WARRIOR" would be convenient enough.

Why is Mobil Cop wearing C3PO's groin? ANd more importantly, why can you recognize C3PO's groin so easily?

Last week I went to a local used toy store to dig through their action figures bins and came across this fellow, one of the last things I expected to find: That's a Mannix figure from Europe. Mannix was a company that got ahold of a few head molds from Hasbro and released a whole slew of figures that were more knock-off than straight-up bootlegs, but they're still pretty weird, with the line venturing into ripping off things like Street Sharks and others too (I fully expect it to be a Bootleg Zones episode sooner than later). Most every figure in the line had this body, just painted differently. For some reason, "Adam Bomb" here appears to be more plentiful in the trade market than others from the line; the rest go into the two and three-digit price range, but this figure is lucky to sell for $5 on ebay (which is about what I paid for him). I'm more concerned about that dude's 14-pack abs. I had the Razor and Diesel shown here as well...This Diesel head mold is the one I always see used as customs as it's pretty well confirmed this was the mold that was to be used in the Orange series that was never released. Still dont remember how I ended up with these knockoffs in small town Illinois.. EDIT - Just realized the Diesel I had was this one
