God, my Blues are so disappointing every post-season. We can't let Minnesota run around like that, we need to get checks on them. If we make them play our style, we beat them 9 times out of 10. But they dominated puck possession and scoring chances. Berglund disappears every post-season, so that's not surprising. But Lehtera hasn't shown anything lately. I think Steen/Backes/Oshie will be fine, but I want Tarasenko/Statsny/Schwartz. Lehtera only gets to play on that line because he's Russian and him and Tank had chemistry early in the season. But you're weighing Tarasenko and Schwartz down now with a guy who doesn't play tough, can't cease anymore (2 assists the last 30 days), and can only score when Schwartz puts the puck on his tape after faking out at least 2 defenders and the goalie. Yeah, when the Wild have a hot goalie they force you to play their style and if you don't they will grind you would with speed. They are a surprisingly fast team. Trust me, I saw them wear down my Avs last season with Bryz of all guys being hot in goal. Also lots of crappy officiating. They have some dirty mothers on that team, but I cannot help but love Niederreiter, Dubnyk and the like.

Dear Bettman,
Please let the Oilers McDavid and ruin him and than have annoying Flames and Canucks fan talk about on how much of a bust he is and how they should of drafted Eichel instead

Kings' Jarrett Stoll was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion for suspected drug possession of cocaine and Ecstasy. I would be upset, but Stoll was a good as gone, anyways. This just made Dean Lombardi's job a lot easier regarding Stoll. Sucks for him, but good luck in your future endeavors Jarret. A sincere 'Thank You' for helping get those two Cups though. Anyways, I've heard this has been a lingering issue(the heavy drug use) since his days in Edmonton. Care to share any details, if you know any Supersweet? It seems odd that this would happen since he's been squeaky clean and quite active in the community in his time with the Kings.

It seems odd that this would happen since he's been squeaky clean and quite active in the community in his time with the Kings. I honestly didn't know Stoll had a reputation of drugs or partying since his days in Edmonton. But it wouldn't shock me since Cocaine is huge in Alberta and lots of former Oiler or Flames players seem to get caught with drug possession after playing with Calgary or Edmonton. It's also funny because he played in a time when the Oilers was filled with crusty family men veterans who had squeaky clean reputations of not even going out for a drink so this issue would stand out heavily especially on how he was one of the younger players on the team. Like the other younger players at the time Horcoff and Hemsky were known to be reclusive homebodies. I remember there was articles on the Journal on the Oilers today were the mirror opposite of the Oilers of the dynasty era that they were gritty rather than skilled and didn't party hard off the ice. Like boy oh boy I remember all the moral outcry of Pronger who is known to be a big partier and how he shouldn't be a Alternate Captain and Pronger did this and Pronger did that and I saw Pronger do this and heard Pronger did that story that dominated during the 2005-2006 season. Hell we are still debating if the reason why Pronger requested to leave Edmonton was because he got caught from his wife having an affair with a reporter from Sherwood Park. So yeah these issues must have happened after Pronger because I never heard any stories or rumours about Jarrett Stoll. If it was during the Pronger season or before than then yeah it would of been widely reported and speculated. But according to my actual source (yes I have a Edmonton nightlife source), the Oilers barely went out partying at all this season and were almost completely absent in the beginning of the season because of their godawful start with Eakins and how close the city came to exploding against the Oilers until they fired Eakins.

Okay... tonight's the draft lottery, and I want the Hurricanes to get it.
Because of that, Toronto's going to get the damn pick.

*puts on tinfoil hat*
I could see Buffalo get it. Buffalo is a big TV market that has been featured before with healthy management. They are a hockey city and this would make up for them losing last years draft lottery. Also there is tons of talent coming into Buffalos way and they are proven they can sign good veteran players and if they win the lottery it wouldn't make the draft seem rigged. Also this guarantees Arizona getting Eichel who maybe good enough to "save" hockey in the desert.
But I'll cry if LA, Boston, San Jose, Dallas, Colorado, Florida, or Toronto wins the lottery

They have a pretty deep forward corps, they need like 3 good d-men. So if they got him it'd be kinda alright to see him traded.

But they would be scary good and have scary amount of center depth for sure

There is a reason that team had the best all around scoring in the league this year. Hell, I am still pissed they traded Max Talbot.

I'm stuck working a music gig tonight, so I'll be desperately trying to sneak a peek at my phone for updates on the Mets game, the playoffs, and The Price is McEichel.
