I was certain beyond all reasonable doubt that Bronn was a dead man tonight. Thank god for Areo and his badass weapon. I guess that means they'll all be part of the Queenmaker plot. That is, depending on what in the f*** is on that damn blade. Lord knows, that girl is not enough like her father.
And calling it now: High Sparrow is a Varys agent. It's only very convenient that Littlefinger starts to get flustered in front of the newest person to arrive in King's Landing after Varys ditches.

So I'm going to go back to original sentiment that Cersei is a colossal idiot. Between playing into Little Finger's hand and now blatant jeapordizing King's Landing in the name of her personal vendetta against the Tyrells. She's dumb.

Bit by bit, she's been at least partially responsible for removing all effective parties that helped her stay in power. Joffrey (scapegoat) killed. Tywin (competent regent) killed. Tyrion (competent advisor) in exile. Varys (competent advisor) in exile. Kevan (competent advisor) took his ball and went home. Jaime (loyal guardian) is a captive in Dorne. Without the help of her most useful allies, she's being exposed as what she's always been: petty, insincere, arrogant, and not very bright. So how long is it until Ramsay dies. Do he and Roose die in the season finale, or do they tap the powers of villain-plot-armor-necromancy to shamble along into season six? |

This was the worst episode of entire series so far. Aside from the mind-numbing and somewhat huge deviations from the books this season has taken, this episode was flat, boring, and some ways horribly done.
This whole Jaime And Bronn's Excellent Dornish Adventure made for TV silly nonsense was dumb from the start, but that "fight" with the Sand Snakes was ridiculously bad. It felt like something cut from Kevin Sorbo's Hercules series. Many are complaining about Ramsey and the rape, but oh man if they actually portrayed it as it was written it was even worse with what Theon is forced to do, despite the fact that the coupling is all wrong to begin with.
I'm not one to gripe or carry on about adaptations from page to screen differences, but the ones in this show, in this season most particularly are just head scratching. There's so much that's happening that doesnt happen as the author intended and some of it is being executed terribly. They've made changes throughout the entire series, but this season has been the most noticeable and the most galling. They could at least make the changes work well.
