I think Heenan's call of the final moments of Hogan vs. Goldberg is one of the most underrated commentator moments ever. "LOOK AT GOLDBERG! HE'S READY! *Spear* OK, there's part one, now FINISH HIM OFF! This is it! This is it! Your career is on the line here! DO IT! DO IT! This place will erupt when he picks him up! *Jackhammer and 3 count* THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We've got a new heavyweight champion of the world! The first undefeated man in the history of this sport to ever win the World's championship and has a record of 106, 107, 108 WHO CARES, there's a zero on the other side! We've got a new champion!" Bobby just went nuclear when Goldberg won the title, and it sold how big of a moment it truly was. And if you know the Hogan/Heenan history. it's even more amazing. Also end of Bash at the Beach '96: Heenan isn't talking, has the smugest 'I told you so' look.

During the introductions of WrestleMania X-Seven's gimmick battle royal as Iron Shiek took a long time to walk to the ring: "By the time the Shiek gets to the ring, it'll be time for WrestleMania 38." It will be disappointing if Wrestlemania 38 doesn't feature the Iron Shiek arriving to the ring.

This. The Brain singlehandedly makes this lousy PPV worthy of repeat viewings. Heenan:"Wouldn't you classify the 20 members of the Hart Family living together be classified as a ghetto?" Vince trying not to corpse: ......Bobby Heenan Greatest commentary moment ever.

As a kid, one of the first things that popped into my mind after Hogan joined the NWO was I could not believe Heenan was actually right about Hogan all along.

Just had this "I effing told you so" look on his face The announcers were only heard during that match and the post-match angle. They did not appear on camera. After Hogan finished talking, Tony said the famous "Hulk Hogan, you can go to Hell" line, signed off, and the credits rolled. Heenan did have a pretty good line during the post-match about how people should have been throwing their trash at Hogan years ago.

Was it Heenan who said a line that was like "I'm not the kind of guy to say I told you so, but if I was the kind of guy to say I told you so, right now would be the time I'd say I told you so?" Or am I getting that wrong?

That's why I liked the McMahon/Heenan commentary team, Monsoon would play along but Vince would just be appalled by some of the stuff Heenan would say.

Bobby just went nuclear when Goldberg won the title, and it sold how big of a moment it truly was. A majestic call. I think Heenan actually thought Goldberg was the future. I think it speaks volumes for Heenan that I have laughed at almost every post in this thread even having not seen the footage in a lot of cases. He wasn't just a delivery man - he was a great joke writer too.

*Eddie puts someone in the Gory Special* Tenay: And this hold was invented by Eddie's father, Gory Guerrero. Heenan: What was he, a door-to-door piano salesman?

Heenan: I heard one day Piper came home and found out his parents ran away. Gorilla: WILL YOU BE SERIOUS, I'LL HAVE YOU REMOVED!! I'm sorry Roddy.
Piper: I don't have to take this. Heenan: You can leave.
Also Piper's various threats to Bobby during the match made in heaven.
