We are one day removed from Extreme Rules, but the chaos never stops on Monday Night Raw. This week's Raw will be live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Resch Center, and we will have all of the fallout from the big event last night. First and foremost on the agenda has to be the controversial ending to the main event. Seth Rollins would retain his WWE title inside the Steel Cage, using the very move he banned from the match, the RKO. Furthermore, Kane would deviate from his impartial role as the Gatekeeper of the match, attacking both participants with the door, and dealing out several Chokeslams to Orton, Rollins, and J&J Security. Will there be consequences for Kane getting involved and nearly costing Rollins the WWE title, or even for Rollins by utilizing the RKO, or did the move ban apply only to Orton? What could be next for Seth Rollins as the WWE Champion heading into Payback? Could Roman Reigns seek to earn another shot at the title, having been the Last Man Standing against the Big Show, seeking the one-on-one title match that Rollins denied him at Wrestlemania? What about Dean Ambrose, who vowed that his career is back on track having put Luke Harper is his rear view mirror?
While the WWE title picture is mired in controversy, the United States championship picture is much more clear. John Cena would retain his championship against Rusev in the Russian Chain Match, but the feud is far from over. Lana would apparently negotiate with The Authority, earning Rusev one last title shot against the US champion, but it is an I Quit Match. John Cena is 4-0 in this match, having defeated JBL, Randy Orton, Batista, and The Miz in past I Quit Matches. Does Rusev have what it takes to get the champion to quit, or will the Final Chapter end as the last two have? In the meantime, will Cena continue to defend his title in weekly open challenges, and is there something to read into Rusev sending Lana away when the Chicago crowd chanted for his beautiful valet?
While the story continued for most of WWE's champions, there is a New Day in the tag team division as Kofi Kingston and Big E defeated Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in a show-stealing title match last night. Will positive thinking continue to prevail for the super athletic friends, or will the voices of the audience finally be heard over their incessant clapping? Will Kidd and Cesaro enact their rematch clause, or could some of WWE's other tag teams take advantage of the new scenery, such as the Lucha Dragons or The Ascension?
There are currently a lot of questions about the Intercontinental title scene as current champion Daniel Bryan was unable to make his title defense last night against Bad News Barrett. Instead, the high-flying sensation Neville would defeat the #1 Contender with his amazing Red Arrow finishing move on the Extreme Rules Kickoff Show. Will we have an update on the health of Daniel Bryan, and what of any potential challengers to his title?
In Divas news, Nikki Bella would defeat Naomi to retain the Diva's championship, after Naomi would cheap shot Brie at ringside, only for Brie to retaliate unseen by the referee. There is no doubt that this will fuel the new-found attitude of Naomi as she continues to pursue the Diva's championship. Will she find a way back into the Diva's title picture, or will someone else step up to challenge the Bellas' dominance over the division.
Finally, we come to the bottom of this Raw preview, and I cannot help that I left something behind. Oh that's right, there was a Kiss Me Arse match at the PPV, with Dolph Ziggler defeating Sheamus. However, when it came down to Sheamus to make posterior...er positive on his word, the Celtic Warrior would instead low blow the Show Off as he was showing off his buns, and make Dolph pucker up and kiss his keister. I wouldn't expect Ziggler to take this laying down, or bending over as it may be.
All this and Bray Wyatt rants about someone yet again, on the USA Network at 8PM EDT, with the Raw pre-show on the WWE Network at 7:30 PM, which is still free for a couple days. And after Raw, it's Jerry Springer partying like it's 1999 on the Network as well. It's not like anyone would pay to watch that, anyway.
