I'm sorry, but this is bullshit. Like mentioned earlier, why the f*** am I paying $10 a month when they're going to keep offering it for free. Yes, you're going to attract new customers, but you're also doing a FANTASTIC job of pissing off the people already willing to pay for your product. Then make a new account and Paypal and take advantage of the offer.

I don't mind. Like said it's like a trial period.
But it probably shows they don't have much going on that month (PPV rise) if they willing give it away for free. Guessing big PPVs or B PPVs with Brock Lesner or another big drawing name on the card will be paid for new subscriber months.

Shit! They may as well make it free at this point.

Did they ever close the loophole where even those that canceled got the free month free, just as long as they weren't a current subscriber you got it free? That is what I don't like. New people getting the first month free, fine but no one else should. Shit just go first month free outside of the 30 days before Mania and Summerslam.

Seriously, I'm a schmuck. I'm paying ten bucks a month when I could just do this every month for free?

I just went to cancel mine so I didn't get charged for May and I'm getting May for free as well. Says it's not going to charge me until June 1st. f*** it, I'll take it. Did you not get charged? I did the exact same thing, went to cancel mine so I didn't get charged for May, but it said that I wouldn't be charged until June 1st so I didn't cancel. First thing this morning, I checked my online account and saw a charge for $10.66. I feel I may have been mislead.

Yep, I got charged, so I sent off an email saying that I either want the month they said I got, or I want my money back and my subscription cancelled.

Where would I go to email them? Go into My Account, and there's a Contact Us option there.

Same. I plan to use their chat support and, if that doesn't work, call them tomorrow.

Seriously, I'm a schmuck. I'm paying ten bucks a month when I could just do this every month for free? Seriously. I'm too lazy to make a new email account every month and reset all my device logins and passwords. I can afford the $9.99 so whatever but still feel I'm getting ripped off when they continually do this.

Like, I get why they do it. Suck people in, boost subscriber numbers so they look good to shareholders etc...
But could they not find a way of avoiding sending me (and I assume, other paid subscribers) push notifications boasting about their free month giveaway?
If I wasn't so very lazy, I'd be making new paypal accounts.

Yeah, I laughed when I got the push notification from the WWE App trying to to tell me to "see what I've been missing," when I have been subscribed since day one non-stop.

While I get the Netflix comparisons, WWE Network doesn't have the content nor the technical bugs ironed out to really warrant a free trial system. It's true that you could just watch whatever you wanted on Netflix and then cancel before the month ends, the amount of content you get on Netflix is well worth the $7.99 or so you pay for the plan. In all honesty, and I ask this as a fan of what WWE Network could be, what does the service currently have to really keep subscribers? They don't add new content nearly enough to be consistent, the monthly PPV streams are often glitchy (YMMV), and there's nothing that I can think of on WWE Network that you can't just find on YouTube for free (oftentimes posted by WWE themselves). It's not enough to attract new subscribers, you have to give them a reason to pay for your content, especially with a niche form of entertainment like wrestling.

For me quality legit PPV streams and access to the library are worth the $9.99. I had no issues watching Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Fast Lane or Wrestlemania in HD on my projector with the Network. If that wasn't the case, and for many it might not be, it would be a different situation. But then I'm a crazy person that travels hours and hours to go to shows so not really representative of a sizable demographic.

Fair enough, but if it really is as easy to continually get free months on WWE Network as creating new Paypal accounts, then you don't even have to pay to get that. Not saying everyone will jump on that option, but still.

I hate those free month. I started with a six-month commitment (never had anything free) and now I have the regular subscription. They say it about every five minutes on RAW and Smackdown and it's like a slap in the face if you are a paying customer. Re-subscribe with new payment method doesn't count for me. That's not a big difference than downloading the stuff somewhere on the Internet. Netflix allways had the free month, I took advantage of it and I new from the beginning what I am dealing with. WWE instead started this later and is advertising it now way too much. My subscription ends right after "Payback" and I will cancel it. So I had at least two PPVs for 9.99. I will re-subscribe shortly after the next PPV to grab again two PPVs and cancel again. It's legit and I guess I will continue this way. That's my personal payback. After WM they started to add more Original Content, some are fine, but nothing you have to see on day one. So a few weeks without the Network is no problem for me. I know you can't really compare, but Netflix is way superior to the Network. 1080p vs 720p, runs very smooth, nearly endless content in all genres (especially if you are using SmartDNS to get all NF Regions) and at last it is cheaper with 8.99 ( two devices / HD). .

They were on the right track with King Of The Ring. The Network needs an exclusive 'Wrestling' show.. Not just NXT I mean, a show.. maybe an hour long featuring matches from the main roster.
Yes like Main Event. But just for the Network this time. Or is there one already? Not sure.
