Why, oh why do these threads die undignified deaths? Am I the only Aqua-Netter still on these forums? We used to keep these threads going for a good distance!
Now, I is sad.

Michael Bolton started out as hair metal, and was actually pretty good at it:

And as for the OPs question, Britny Fox had MUCH better songs than Girlschool:
(its a cover, but it still rocks)

Do you want newer bands or older bands? For newer stuff check out: Reckless Love Crazy Lixx Liberty N Justice H.E.A.T. For some more older, obscure stuff you might like: Spread Eagle Badlands Black N Blue Tyketto Also, from what i've heard, the new Tesla, Kix, Trixter, and Nelson albums are all pretty good. *sigh* I will say this til the day I die. Tesla is NOT hair metal! Not even close. And this isn't even me, a big fan, being biased. They are a straight up hard rock band. Hell, even their ballad 'Love Song' is not about the singer singing about his cliche lost love or unrequitted love. Jeff Keith wrote it for his sister who had just gone thru a break up. And 'What You Give' was written about his recently-deceased dog.

their hair metal credentials are debatable, but the first two Racer X albums with Paul Gilbert are fantastic
Touch have only got one other song online as far as I know, but their best known song is this from the Rocky 4 OST, famous for not actually being in the film at all
Lion were known for their version of the Transformers theme, but they had three pretty good albums

Here's a band I'd never heard of until I found their lone album at the record store yesterday, Shark Island:

I've been striking obscure hair metal gold at my local used CD store lately. I've picked up albums by: Roxy Blue Blonz Tangier Sleeze Beez Enuff Z'nuff Bang Tango Junkyard Just to name a few. Edit: Here's a few more: Alias Danger Danger Dangerous Toys Loudness Kingdom Come Steelheart Dangerous toys were great. Never considered them hair metal

Then there are the bands that I think I am one of the very few that remember them: Okay, so I'm not the only one who remembers and still listens to Kingofthehill....such an amazing album.

Electric boys were alright. Hell I'll throw two bands people won't associate but if you listen to their first albums they definitely classify. Panera and white zombie. Their sounds changed drastically but initially they were glam

Here's something interesting. You may have heard of Butch Walker, but do you want to know what he was doing before becoming an indie rock darling?
I also highly reccomend Butch's post-Southgang band Marvelous 3. Its not hair metal in the slightest, but Hey! Album and Ready Sex Go are two of the best power pop albums i've ever heard.

Welsh hair metal
They also did a pretty damn awesome cover of Megadeths 'Peace Sells' as well. And Creeping Death as well, forgot about that one.

So, may I request a slight expansion into what I've seen referred to as "sleaze rock"? Stuff in the vein of early Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Hanoi Rocks, Motley Crue, Backyard Babies, the Hellacopters.....guys like Skid Row probably fall into this as well.
