The nWo. It's only been a little less than 19 years, but geez...watching them makes me feel ready for the old folk's home. Same with Stone Cold. I don't know...watching him makes me feel ancient too. His matches couldn't scream late 90's if they tried. Every time I watch either these days I feel like turning on an old CRT TV and playing Sega Saturn afterwards. It's weird because they're not that old but boy...they sure feel like it. Now if only I can find a fanny pack like those guys wore I'd be A-okay

When Curtis Axel confronted Hulk Hogan a while back. I saw on PPV the 1990 Royal Rumble, where the last 2 participants were Hogan and Mr. Perfect, Axel's father.

Me writing a letter to Hulk Hogan in 1990/91 to destroy Sgt. Slaughter and asking for an autograph. I think I got the address to WWF headquarters in their magazine. Did you end up getting the autograph?

What makes me feel old is watching today's wrestlers and remembering vividly many of their fathers wrestling.

Remember the phrase "a decade of destruction" that they used when talking about Undertaker? That was more than a decade ago. To go one further- There are wrestlers on the active WWE main roster who were not born yet when The Undertaker debuted.

Not a specific moment, but the fact that many WWE stars (both NXT and the main roster) are younger than me.
This August will be TWENTY YEARS since I saw my first WWE PPV in person.

To the OP... Kid (and yes you are still a kid... ), when I was 11, Macho Man was winning the WWF title tournament at Wrestlemania IV. So, get me my shawl, then get off my lawn, you whippersnapper!

I was 9 or 10 years old when I saw one of the first matches of my life= Flair defeating Race in the cage for the belt, shown during an Atlanta Braves rain delay. Seeing Ric Flair today makes me feel old.

Did you end up getting the autograph? Nope. That's the first time I realized I was better off with Randy Savage. I've heard people here mention that they've gotten something mailed back to them. Was it common to get responses to mail back in the day? I DID get an autographed photo from Joe Montana back in 1993 when I mailed a request to the Kansas City Chiefs, which was nice. I was just as big a Joe Cool fan. But if there's a feel old thread for the NFL, that's one I could use. Can't believe he's been retired for 21 years.

I graduated high school when the Steve Austin was feuding with the Hart Foundation To make this one feel older: This year's incoming college freshmen would know Bret Hart as a WCW wrestler first.
