Or, you know, the fact that earlier in the thread, people saw the actual pictures used as the base for the fakes came up too.

Really, the problem comes from reactions like this: It's clear these pictures are fake, and it's her right to say "I don't like these fake pictures, please don't make them of me". However, by protesting about the fake pictures out there, it's already giving these fake photos that no one except a very small group of fans would even have interest in seeing and giving them a kernel of "well, they're probably fake, but if she's this angry about their existence leaking, maybe, just maybe, they might be real..." even though it's provable they are fake.
