Pointing at the Wrestlemania sign or blatantly staring at it. God how it annoys me!!

I miss Raw having scheduled matches like when it premiered. You knew 3 or 4 matches that would happen the next week for an hour show. Now we tune in for a 3 hour show not knowing anything outside of one hasty challenge or something thrown together by the Authority.

Whenever two 'good wrestler' babyfaces base their entire feud on "Our match is gonna be great at the PPV!"
WRESTLINGS FAKE EVERYONE. They're gonna work together to have a really good fake fight!

It seems like about 80% of these complaints are going to be indirectly about Dolph.

John Cena and Seth Rollins both have this really irritating habit of getting their hands on microphones and speaking into them.

I know it's an order from Dunn, but I really hate how wrestlers will shift in the ring to obviously get in position for the hard camera. Completely takes me out of the match. I don't know what's unnatural about that. I often see NBA players give up a chance at an open jumper in the corner so that he can take the ball to the top of the key and shoot a shot that will look better on SportCenter.

I'm inclined to believe the majority of WWE talent would fair better if they weren't constrained by edicts from the front office.
Example:
ECW - Everything flowed naturally. The talent was given the storyline and a general idea of the outcome and the purpose of the in-ring match. The rest was improvised.
NXT - Triple H may run the show, but there appears to be a more organic running of the show, storylines, and performances from the talent. It's ECW-lite (what WWECW should have been).
Anyway, things wrestlers do that bother me...being so predictable in televised matches and changing next to nothing, but saving all the compelling stuff for the PPV.

I always used to get bugged by the way guys like Kane and Jericho would take the Pedigree - not a flat bump with both legs back but extending out one knee to take the impact instead.
I don't know if it was out of worry for facial injury, although others all took it fine (even Warrior's squash at WM12 had a picture-perfect Pedigree take from him) or trying to use the knee to bounce up a little upon impact for effect. I don't know, but it always make it look like crap to me. Always preferred the normal version, of being driven flat to the mat, no flopping about.

I generally like Ambrose's clothesline even if they do it every match... I like that it's basically his counter move after getting staggered. When people "catch" a jumping finish. Most of the time you can tell the guy is simply jumping into the catch, not trying to hit their finish. The flying nothing is my biggest pet peeve in wrestling. In every variation.

Thank god WWE doesn't really do this anymore but when guys do chain wrestling with no struggle whatsoever. They just go through a set of clearly choreographed moves just so they can do a silly staredown while the fans clap. Almost as if this was all fake...

On the hard camera thing, a new one I've noticed, Cena holding the US belt. He holds it up to the camera like he's showing it to the fans on that side.
Then he turns around and shows it off to the opposite fans... with the plates still facing the camera.
So all the fans that side he's just showing them a bit of blank leather.

I guess that's what I get for saying I don't like Dolph.
I disliked Dolph before it was cool, dammit!

Just seems like the majority opinion has shifted against him seemingly overnight. Seems like it happens with a lot of people that are stagnant. Their flaws become easier to spot.

This is a discussion for another thread, but ESPN has been quite damaging to sports over the past decade.

Now we tune in for a 3 hour show not knowing anything outside of one hasty challenge or something thrown together by the Authority. Yeah, I really hate that. Why watch next week if we have nothing to watch for? I mean yeah I guess 'anything could happen,' but how about giving us something to look forward to? Or better yet, OPEN THE SHOW WITH A f***ING MATCH. Thank god WWE doesn't really do this anymore but when guys do chain wrestling with no struggle whatsoever. They just go through a set of clearly choreographed moves just so they can do a silly staredown while the fans clap. Almost as if this was all fake... Yeah I always hated that. It's like doing those basic lock-ups is the hallmark of being 'a great wrestler,' missing the fact that guys like Malenko knew how to make that shit look like it was difficult and took effort. Wrestlers wearing their gear when they are not booked to wrestle. As attractive as some of these guys are to look at, I shouldn't see Miz in his underwear just to cut a promo or stand around backstage. I hate this too. It's only a small thing, but it really adds to the personality of a wrestler when you get to see what he looks like outside of the ring; Rock in his jeans and t-shirts, Rock in his $500 shirts and sunglasses, Triple H in the leather jackets, it's character building. Falling for any form of outside interference. It's such a stupid and lazy booking tactic and it makes your wrestlers, the guys who we are supposed to cheer for, look like braindead morons. It helps NOBODY. I really want to see someone book a spot where someone comes out to distract the guy they're feuding with, to absolutely no avail, right up to the point of standing on the ring apron while the pin is counted, and then the second the ref counts three, the winner just murders the guy on the apron; he knew he was there the whole time, he was just focused on winning the match.
