Sad....Minnesota just lost their head coach and team president in a way you never want to lose them.

Flip coached my Wizards for a few seasons and while they were never very good I always looked forward to his press conferences and interviews because he usually had some good quotes. He'll be missed.

Didn't they say his cancer was easily treatable as they had caught it early? I wonder what happened to change that?

Damn, I didn't know Flip Saunders passed away. He was a great coach too and a shame he never won a ring with the Timberwolves when they had Cassell, Garnett, and Sprewell. That was a scary team! RIP Flip.

LBJ is a free agent in 2016. So they better hope they win this year, because he could be out the door if not. I remember Dampier's big year, and he was good against everybody. A real contract player, because him in Dallas was like watching a totally different player. Thompson projected to be a better player consistently, but he has such a raw offensive game. He's literally got no above average offensive skills, and most of his points come from his rebounding with put-backs. No one was going to give him 90+ mil. It's crazy that Cleveland would bid against themselves, even if LeBron was in their ear. But I guess that's chalked up as the cost of doing business in today's NBA. I doubt Lebron bails again. His move back home was to prove that he could win a Championship with his Home team. If he were to take his talents somewhere else again, the media would eat him alive. Nothing that hasn't already happened before. LeBron knows how the NBA legacy thing works. The upper echelon of NBA greats are judged on rings. If he doesn't think he's going to win one in Cleveland, he's gone. What the media does is irrelevant. They've already done everything they can to LeBron and Kobe, and what is history going to remember?

Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson are in an NBA starting lineup in 2015. What a time to be alive

Kinda.... disappointing looking rings. They actually look like a cheap ripoff rather than a Grand "trophy" of sorts.
