There's also Mike Dennis, a Jersey indy wrestler who stole Randy Savage's Bonesaw character from the Spider-Man movies. He also took a clumsy bump on the outside in the crowd, leading to someone I know sustaining serious knee damage to this day, but that's another story.
How about Joey Janela using Starman from NES Pro Wrestling? (EDIT: I already mentioned this...wow, this thread's 2 years old plus?!!? But there was a time the then-PWS kept ripping off Nintendo characters. There was a Little Mac too. And they made fun of National Wrestling Superstars for the cartoon characters!)
On some recent shows here, there's a guy who looks and wrestles a lot like Bam Bam Bigelow. Can't place his name right now.

The fact that Alabama Doink makes a living from wrestling and that he advertises himself as a former wwf superstar infuriates me. I wish this asshole would get into the wwe's radar so he gets a cease and desist letter and he stops being Doink. I have no problem with all the fake doinks around the world, but Alabama Doink just irritates me. Matt Borne is rolling in his grave. |
