I think this guy has been mentioned in this thread. But for the past 5 years at least there was a guy claiming to be the Ultimo Dragon from WCW. Working the Georgia and Alabama scene. Seems he has slightly changed his name and is gonna be working a show in Sumrall MS August 8th.

This thread is amazing. Don't think I have ever enjoyed reading through a thread this much.

The Jersey area has or had a lot... - The aforementioned One Warrior Nation. - "Original oddity" Golga...promoted years after John Tenta died. - Mor-Ta-Ta, the "tribute to Chris Kanyon" - The Sons of Kamala (formerly Nigerian Nightmares, I think) - And let us not get started on Tom Brandi as the Patriot. - PWS as a heavy hitter in the indy world, of ROH caliber ;-) ECPW had/has the Peacemaker and Justin Blackwell.

too much here not to revive this thread The weirdest part of that poster is that Scrapyard Dog looks WAY more like Tony Atlas than Johnny Atlas does.

Man, even PPW's championship belt is a ripoff of WWE's attitude era World Title belt.

Man, even PPW's championship belt is a ripoff of WWE's attitude era World Title belt. To be fair, a lot of indies will use replica belts or modified versions of existing title belts.
