I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet, but there's an absolutely absurd theory that Batman and Bruce Wayne are the same person. Now you're just trolling with that type of crazy talk But Superman said so! ![](https://p.dreamwidth.org/a150c7ec619e/abload.de/img/injusticegodsamongus2vka39.jpg)

Next you are going to say Peter Parker and Spider-Man are the same person Not anymore! Tell me this isn't an effect of the new Secret Wars/Fox Owned Properties Go Away....

As of right now he's still Spider-man.
But there are going to be multiple Spider-men post Secret Wars I believe.
Also Marvel has the rights to Parker again and are putting him in their movies so they haven't been downplaying his importance like they have with the X-men

The Scooby-Doo gang was always called "Mystery, Inc." from the beginning, and was made official as of "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated".
The original "Mysteries Incorporated" was the name of a cartoon block on Cartoon Network that aired back in the mid to late-90s that aired all of the Scooby-clone/mystery shows. Ironically, none of the Scooby shows were aired.
I think that the fans who named the gang "Mystery Inc." were also the same fans who started the anti-Scrappy-Doo movement.

Yes, the only group name before then was the "Scooby-Doo Detective Agency," as per "A Pup Named..." And when Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy worked for the Fearless Detective Agency in the 1982 season. While we're on the topic....yes. "Scrappy killed the franchise." Yeah...unless you count 6-7 more years of still being on SatAM. And the "Velma is HOT" trope. And, well, any Scooby trope/urban legend that existed since the mid 90s.

The scrappy is the one that killed the franchise is the biggest Scooby one though Scooby Doo was almost cancelled pre-scrappy... Scrappy saved their asses... Flim Flam now there's a character that doesn't get enough hate ... but I base that on no one remembering the 13 ghosts of Scooby Doo ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I think the "Velma is a lesbian" rumored was started by "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back". And I don't know if "Pup" was canon, prior to "The Mystery Begins".

I remember in an episode of "What's New Scooby Doo" there was a flashback to Velma's birthday party and they all hat their "Pup Named Scooby Doo" character designs, so it may have been...

Speaking of Scoob and the Gang, Shaggy does not use any illicit substances! Those are baseless, unfounded rumors...he just has a massive appetite and and a talking dog! Nothing odd there!

It used to bug me that people said Indiana Jones had eternal life because he drank from the Holy Grail. No he didn't! The Knight warned him that the gift of eternal life had restrictions, you could not take the cup beyond the seal. To remain immortal, you'd have to keep drinking from the Grail, which means staying in that cave for the rest of time. They even explain that the Knights who found the Grail originally and then left the cave, eventually died of old age. There were even people who complained that Henry Jones Senior could not have died between the third and fourth films because he too drank from the Grail. It wasn't a minor plot point hinted at, they flat out explained the conditions of eternal life.

Hating a female character because "she gets in the way of the yaoi", but they won't admit to it.
Relena, Dorothy, Lacus, Cagalli, Fllay, Kairi, and Hermione are the most infamous victims.
Also applies to male characters and yuri.
