Why do I have this terrible feeling that Lesnar and Reigns vs. Rollins and Kane is going to happen in the very near future? Nah. Lensar doesn't work Raw episodes, and there's no way in hell that would put that on PPV. ...Then again, this is the same company that nearly had Batista vs Randy Orton as the main event of the 30th annual WrestleMania.

I really think people would over reacted to that beat down. He needed a chink in the armor in order to make it look like Rollins has a chance or at worst an out to have Rollins keep the title. It took four men and weapons to do it Completely agree. He has to be taken down at some point, otherwise nobody will ever be able to beat him. It took a whole group in an ambush, including a guy not far off from his size. And it's not like he's gone forever. He'll come back and destroy them all. Not far off his size? Kane is technically bigger than Lesnar by a reasonable amount (billed height and weight of 7'0" 323 lbs, compared to Lesnar's 6'3" 286 lbs), and while he's obviously lost a few steps from his prime years, he's not a completely immobile lump like say a Khali or an Andre in his later years. I found it completely plausible that in a group beatdown he'd be able to get his shit in and help wear down Lesnar. But, that doesn't mean that Kane can take him in a one-on-one match (because that's what I see the implication as being whenever I read all the bellyaching about this segment). This is the issue with Lesnar being booked the way he has been in this second run... You've built this guy up as being miles above and beyond the average pro wrestler because of his legit UFC success, so you can't really do average pro wrestling matches and angles with him.

You wanna go into Battleground with the ultimate "oh crap" feeling for Rollins, have Brock break Kanes arm (maybe even both) on the go home show. I'll admit to mostly wanting this to write Kane off for the rest of the year, but you can't deny Brock standing over Kanes crumpled corpse whilst Seth shits himself on the ramp is a visual and a half.

Yeah, I don't get the implication that Kane can't wrestle or that him helping in these beatdowns is implausible. It's not as if they brought Bastion Booger back to beat down Brock Lesnar, Kane's pretty consistently shown that he's credible enough to be the muscle of a group.

I love seeing Brock on Raw and he is always the most entertaining part, but I want to see something different from him on this weeks show (instead of the usual standing in the background as Heyman talks). It would be great if he showed up a few times in the show and beat down some of Rollins 'friends/allies' (a bit like when Austin would randomly come out and attack people). It would be a good on going theme for the show as well as they could have him take out J&J first, then New Day (and a few others including Big Show) and lastly Kane in front of Rollins to end the show

Look, I know faces get beaten down by the heels now and again. Especially when there's a group of heels. Austin used to get beat up every few weeks on RAW when he was the toughest SOB in WWE. So I understand Brock, as a face, will have to get beaten up by a gang of heels now and again. However can we make sure its a more powerful foce beating him up next time? So my suggestion: If The Authority- Seth, Kane, JJ security beat him up again, how about getting New Day enrolled to help in the beating? It would give them something to do, it would increase the number odds against Brock, give New Day some form of revenge, and Big E is far more credible looking than Mercury. Yes, I'm aware Brock merked New Day yesterday, but he's also merked both Local Men at the same time before. Brock can just do these things. However a high number of people against him makes beatdowns more credible. He was beaten up IIRC by the likes of Dude Love then Stooges came in to gave him a hand, one thing is Foley in his prime, and other thing is FREAKING Kane in 2015.

It took four men and weapons to do it It's not that Brock got beat down, it's WHO beat him down. A pair of cruiserweights who weren't threatening in their prime and goddamn Kane. There's literally a roster full of better options for Rollins' goon squad, but they have the three worst possible options out there beating down Lesnar. Even Rollins playing a bigger part in leading the assault would have been a better option.

It's been over 7 years... I want to see Seth pull dart gun and shoot Brock in the ass with an elephant tranquilizer.
Brock still doesn't fall asleep until after F5's Seth, J&J, Kane and a shark.

I'm not so much bothered by Lesnar being beaten down by the Authority as I am that way too many Raw/Smackdowns have ended with the Authority standing tall

And it's not like Kane is tossing Lesnar around the ring like a ragdoll. Whenever it's just him and Brock going at it he's getting his ass beat until someone else jumps in to help out. Kane's just the biggest goon in the good squad who using the numbers advantage to wear the tougher guy down. You want some younger hoss in there looking like a chump?

It'd be just fine if it didn't feel like 'Groundhog's day'. It's creeping up on 2 years, and the Authority storyline has barely had any progression whatsoever

It was to emphasize that the authority are Seths only hope at keeping the belt so when they are somehow banned from ringside all looks lost for Rollins.
What follows is the Hulk v Loki style beat down Rollins has had coming since mania but he somehow retains by erm I'm guessing Orton makes an early turn back to heel as he isn't doing much now and an Orton/Lesner program would be fresh.
