Been quite awhile since I have been able to log in here to play some music...so...
I'd like to recommend an awesome doom/death metal album from Ukraine and from the same guys in the band Drudkh. This is Rattenfanger, which is German for rat catcher, and they are crushing! The album is Epistolae, obscurorum, virorum, and it's from 2012. SO damn good!

so, I went on a huge Suicide Black Metal kick last week and I discovered this genius piece of madness:
I dig these guys a lot. they're a bit more... rockin than their contemporaries are. apparently their lyrics are mostly sarcastic but I don't speak Swedish unfortunately.

Definitely Ripper Owens' finest work....the entire album is great from start to finish. I would say Red Baron tops this one as Owens's best work. |
