New York Post has a ***** headline about this. No, they had a lazy headline reusing a joke that had been all over Twitter for hours. Plus, it had a factual error in it.

Oh dear, just had a Subway sandwich prior to finding out about this. :/ Don't worry, man, I'm sure the sandwich never molested anybody. And even if it did, it's dead now. It can't hurt anyone anymore.

So Subway is going to need a new spokesman. I mean, I'm trying to lose a lot of weight and I'm only interested in adults of legal age so I think this could be mutually beneficial relationship. In the most recent subway commercial, there's an employee who talks about making various subs. He kind of looks like virgil....so...yeah.

They release pictures of Jose Lothario eating at rival restaurants.
People will come running back to Subway rather than be seen anywhere Jose has been.

To be honest, the "Jared getting a footlong in prison" joke was pretty hacky even when it was new. I mean, talk about the most obvious joke someone could make!

To be honest, the "Jared getting a footlong in prison" joke was pretty hacky even when it was new. I mean, talk about the most obvious joke someone could make! Yet so many people did. Many also made remarks about Subway's motto, "Eat Fresh". I refrained from jokes, partially because I could not come up with anything that was both funny and original. Let's have Will Wheaton show us how it's done:

He's not going to jail, he's going to prison Ape/Monkey, Gun/Rifle. People know what they're trying to say. Going to jail is welcome, going to prison is allowed.
