Green Lantern ![](http://www.andysmithart.com/images/Green-Lantern-color.jpg) He's handsome. Not as good as his Parallax Costume ![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f242/TheDieselTrain/Parallax001_1.jpg) Crux (one of cerebros faux X-men) had a kickass costume. Shame she only lasted 2 issues ![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f242/TheDieselTrain/crux3.jpg)

DieselTrain... the day that whichever hack that designed the shoulder-pad nightmare that was Parallax's costume can outdesign Gil Kane is the day that comics died.

Jeez, you kidz sure do like your kewl. What next... Wild C.A.T.S as an example of storytelling and design? The early 90s relaunch of the X-Men as a textbook way to put together a coherent comic series?

And I believe it was, Ethan Van Sciver, who designed the Parallax travesty, along with Geoff Johns as writer. (I could be wrong though, which is most likely the case.)

i always thought Onslaught looked awesome. never liked Magneto's look, but Onslaught looked awesome. You should be arrested and thrown out of a window. Now I see the kind of people that Marvel, Image, and even my beloved D.C. were marketing to in the 90s.

to be fair, I don't read comics. I only saw Onslaught because he was a boss in Marvel VS Capcom. so if it makes you feel any better, I never bought any of the products you claim to despise.

70s version.
I just find that the 90s comic artists went waaaayyyy over the top in terms of, well... everything. Suddenly legs were telescopic, biceps bulged beyond belief, and bosoms bountifully bubbled 'bout.

Thankfully, things have toned down.
