Billy Corgan doesn't seem too thrilled with people making fun of the photo. It's weird how someone could take some rather innocent comments so seriously.

I liked the Pumpkins too (I think their best work was Adore, which is a pretty underrated record).

Billy looked pretty attractive when he had long hair.



Its pretty sad seeing him in TNA and his booking has been pretty awful, such as the Dollhouse and James Storm

Billy responded to some of the comments by saying 'A wiseguy, eh?'
But when they grabbed him by the nostrils & then his ear he stated 'Nyah nyah!' & 'Nyuk nyuk nyuk!' Then promptly ran away in retreat shouting 'a woowoowoo, woo!'

Billy responded to the infamous image...

Apparently, Billy was criticized during his vacation to Disneyland as well, because, as can be seen in the first portion of Corgan’s response, inquiries into his emotional state are really off limits.

“I literally had somebody say to me the other day, I think it was at Disneyland: ‘Hey, you don’t seem that into this.’ I was like, ‘I’m at f—ing Disneyland. I just want to hang out at Disneyland. I’m not here to do a meet and greet, I’m here to be at Disneyland.’ You know what I’m saying? But it’s almost like, ‘Well you’re here, and I’m here, and because I’m on my vacation, your vacation, you’re part of my vacation.’ It’s like, I’m not working, and I wasn’t being unpleasant, I wasn’t being rude. I was taking pictures with people, I took a picture with every person that asked. But then it gets into, what’s in your head? Like, you’re not smiling enough, or you don’t seem to be enjoying – and I’m like, what the f— do you want from me?”

Billy Corgan went on to address the issue many celebrities face anytime they attend public events or try to interact in a public setting. Mr. Corgan responded to the questions with the same manner that many celebrities might adopt, when being subjected to similar criticisms.

“That’s when it gets like, are you paying me? On whose dime are we on here? Because we have so much celebrity culture that is servile, ‘I’ll say whatever you want. I’ll make sure I take just the right selfie so I look better than I really look.’ I don’t want any part in that, that’s not interesting. So if that means one person has to walk away and go, ‘He’s doesn’t seem like he’s in a good mood,’ and they never go to a show again, I mean, they’re not really a fan, so that’s just the way it goes.”

I can see where he's coming from. I wouldn't want to be bothered if I was out in public like that.

My theory is that he was happy to be at Disneyland.

But in the moment that photo was taken, he remembered that he works for TNA, and you can see the expression of sadness, regret and melancholy that swept across him like a wave of despair.


He was OK later. He met Sofia The First, got a cuddle, cheekily asked her if he could borrow the Amulet of Avalor, hung out with Elsa and even got to meet WALL-E and he was smiling and happy for the rest of the day.

Just thinking... isn't a little odd for a guy just to be hanging out at Disneyland? Maybe he was there with family, friends, or a girlfriend, but it's a little odd for a guy just to go to Disneyland by himself.


You usually think of Disneyland as a family place.
