Transformers Armada was half-way decent and is worth it for the Starscream/Alexis relationship Beast Machines is superior to just about anything since.

Kitty Pryde is perhaps the worst X-men character ever conceived. I defy you to name another character whose a larger mary sue in any medium. "ooh look as me I'm a snarky ballerina and i'm a ninja and a computer hacker and I'm besties with Wolverine for some reason and all the boys lurve me and I have a pet dragon and I get crammed into franchises I have no business being involved in like Guardians of the Galaxy because Bendis used to wank to me when he was 12 and I'm Star-lord now and bleh be bleh bleh bleh". seriously, f*** this character. I wish she stayed on that space bullet and starved to death. Well then I will actually have to compliment Ellen Page...she got that characterization down pat! I hope they re-enact that last scenario you mentioned with her version in the next movie. Luke Cage is another member of Bendis' wank club. Can I add BMB being overrated in general? Wow, he can stretch dialogue over numerous repeats of the same frame, I'm impressed! Bendis is good enough when he's on a book about characers he actually understnads (like Spider-man and Daredevil) but he keeps taking on projects he has no business writing like Avengers and X-men.

Joe Quesada isn't that bad of a guy. He made mistakes, but I feel his era was the strongest since Shooter and under Alonzo Marvel is going to the absolute dogs.

Jon Peters' Superman ideas were batshit crazy, but it would have been a hilarious movie.

I can sit down, enjoy, and laugh at episodes from Modern Simpsons.

Batman Begins has the best first act of the Dark Knight trilogy.
The 2005 Fantastic Four movie and its sequel are tolerable.
Spider-Man 3 has more entertainment value than The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and is a much better movie.

Family Guy didn't become mediocre until season 10, and even then it's not as bad as it's hate-watchers try to convince you. They still have some episodes that make me laugh. That being said, Archer and Bojack Horseman have far surpassed the Big 3 Adult Toons (The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy) in quality.
Oh, and Drawn Together was absolute garbage.

Am I the only person who liked Amazing Spider-Man 2? Maybe it was because the costume was better, and not reinvent the wheel-y as the ASM1 version, and I didn't have to deal with a butchering of Spidey's origin, but...

Oscar or not I found JK Simmons's "jazz Nazi" character in Whiplash to be too over-the-top to take seriously.
Yes I'm perfectly capable of suspension of disbelief for the sake of a storytelling, I'm a pro wrestling fan after all, but for this type of drama I need characters I find realistic.

Every Monday morning, Facebook and Twitter are ablaze with people lauding John Oliver for verbally eviscerating whatever topic he took down the previous night on "Last Week Tonight". However, he takes on the lowest of low-hanging fruit in his rants, so he'll get the widest audience possible to nod their heads and agree with him. He just discusses lay-up subjects where you need almost no effort to win people over, just shout and swear and talk about how ridiculous something is. He takes on topics that have almost universal support from the masses, whether it's taxpayer-funded sports arenas and stadiums, FIFA, net neutrality, income inequality, big tobacco, or student debt. As if anyone in the freaking world is going to be like, "You know what? I kind of disagree with John Oliver here. I think crippling student loan debt is a good thing!" or "Pfft, I don't care what John Oliver has to say, big tobacco's got it all figured out!"

Nickelback is not the worst mainstream band. There are plenty of terrible rock bands who have much worse sounding music, and they get off scot-free thanks to the hate Nickelback gets. I'm not understanding what the problem is in him calling B.S. like all that out.

"Skinny b*tches" references in certain songs are justified...the prejudices and bullying based on appearance has turned this into a war anyway. And one with casualties....Karen Carpenter anyone?
I still will never understand or agree about Rihanna defending Chris Brown and wanting to get back with him.

I didn't mind ASM2, and I enjoyed the action mostly. My only gripes with the film were the focus on Peter and Gwen's romance, the shoehorning of The Goblin (Which could have waited until the third film) and the underdevelopment of Electro.

I hate procedural law enforcement shows. Like, HATE them. They all feel the same, and always feature the same cast of archetypes.

Ghostbusters 2 was a good movie.
Watchmen is an underrated film.
Jim Cummings should win an Oscar for best voice actor ever.
Mighty Ducks 2 was a great movie.
