Maybe it's just that the Hawks don't want to be in the same venue as Bryan Adams.

Hawks were pretty dire today. I only watched the first half but Roughead in particular was having a shocker.

Hawks saved some face toward the end. But that does not defeat the fact that West Coast comprehensible pantes them tonight.
Think Hawks play the winner of the Bulldogs/Crows match next week. West Coast cruise in style to the Prelim.
I know I make it sound like the Hawks are out of contention. But they are still in the finals race and you never know.

Holy Shit.. Sydney could have stolen that.
OK Sydney play the winner of NthMelb/Richmond match. Winner of that match has to face Brock ops I mean West Coast in the prelim.

Wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a Western Derby (the name for the rivalry game between Western Australian teams West Coast and Fremantle) in the Grand Final.

And #2 Brisbane Broncos defeat #3 North Queensland Cowboys 16-12 in the other qualifying final. Brisbane join Melbourne Storm in taking the weekend off next week, and the weekend after that will play the winner of the Sydney Roosters/Canterbury Bulldogs elimination game for a place in the Grand Final. North Queensland back up next week against the winner of tomorrow's Cronulla Sharks/South Sydney Rabbitohs elimination game.

Adelaide have broken the Bulldogs hearts in a classic by 7 points at the MCG
Adelaide face the Hawks on Friday night back at the G. Tell ha, the only people going for the Hawks will be Hawks supporters.
If the Crows go all the way, there will be movie made about their season. Or a 30 For 30 special.

Hey Sydneysiders I currently have the Bulldogs/Dragons match on in HD on GEM, is it the same up there? Was in SD up here. The TV coverage of AFL & NRL is strange. NSW & Qld get AFL in HD on 7Mate but get NRL in SD on 9. Vic, Tas, SA & WA get AFL in SD on 7 but get NRL in HD on Gem.

Richmond have been knocked out of the first week of the finals for the third straight season (there is one three peat we will see this year). Their supporters must be gutted. They was talk they could of possibly gone deep into the finals. Oh well.
So next week
Hawthorn hoping to rebound by taking on the Adelaide Crows at The MCG on Friday night. Adelaide hot off a great win. Should be a belter. Winner take on Fremantle the following week in the Prelim (confirmed for a Friday)
&
The walking wounded Sydney Swans take on the now super confident North Melbourne at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night. Winner takes on West Coast in the prelim (Saturday afternoon).

And in the second elimination final this week in the NRL, #6 Cronulla Sharks have eliminated the reigning champions, #7 South Sydney Rabbitohs, in a 28-12 win.
