I'm not much of a fan of the trend in NCAA FB where they schedule all of the good matchups at 3:30 or later. I understand why they do it, but there's virtually no reason to watch the early games anymore.

Not impressed by this week's slate. Outside of MSU v Oregon I'm not seeing much compelling drama...maybe LSU/Miss state

Ah and OU v Tennessee. Forgot that one. But on the plus side, Kyle field opens after its $500 million renovation. I'll give the schedule maker this one cupcake bc you don't want to have Miami or Auburn christening your stadium.

I'll throw a vote toward anything before 3:30 isn't usually an anticipated game anymore. I remember when this was not true In the Raycom sports days, my region would have games that started as early as 11am and often they were Arkansas, Texas or Texas A&M. Notre Dame has pretty consistently been a 3pm game since going to NBC. This seems to be shifting in recent years and they re having more night games

While night-games are good for recruiting I hate that the huskers are playing a night-game against freaking South Alabama. I'd much rather watch a game like that at 11am then kick-back and watch the bigger games after that. Especially sucks because the slate of games during the day sucks this week and all the good ones are on at night. Hopefully we play better this week and end it quick.

Oh crap I just looked at the start time for Bama and Ole Miss. I seriously think that is dangerous. Game day starts early am and the game won't start until 9:15 pm. That gives Alabama fans in Tuscaloosa 12 hours to drink, stir up schitt and and get riled up. There is an honest to god good chance for a decent sized violent encounter and I'm not joking. That is dangerous. Win or lose. The most dangerous outcome is Mississippi wins again and the Bammers look for puppies to kick (Ole Miss fans trying to quietly sneak away). Ya'll ever see that video of the woman attacking the OU fan at the Sugar Bowl a couple yrs ago? I don't think that guy had even said a word to her

Standford no good this year Don't see a Stanford win but they should D-up and give USC a decent game. I don't think USC is as good as their ranking.
