The quips don't bother me when they're funny; and most of these were. And apparently the Sokovia disaster will be one of the driving forces for Civil War, so this one did have consequences. Plus Ultron was threatening planetary extinction. So the stakes were high. Eh, like I said, I like it. Possible Civil War spoilers below, so tread carefully... {Spoiler}It's to the point that the Accords mentioned in the Ant-Man stinger are known as the Sokovia Accords.

I enjoyed it every bit as much as the first Avengers, and I'm looking forward to giving it a second go-around on bluray soon. See how I really feel about it with the hype dialled down. Oddly, Guardians left me slightly impressed after all the hoopla there. No accounting for personal taste

I had an insanely good time watching it in theaters and I'm thinking about buying the Blu Ray. I didn't find anything wrong with Taylor Johnson's Quicksilver, I thought he showed way more personality than he did in Godzilla. And the Black Widow/Hulk stuff was adorable as hell.
I didn't think it was perfect, it probably could have trimmed a little bit, but it was just as fun as the first one at least.

I don't think they are doing one, but I'd like to see a directors cut. It is obvious that a lot of things were trimmed for time.

I don't hate the movie but a week after watching it, I couldn't remember anything other than Vision's debut. It was a damn good scene, but it feels like AoU just came and went.

Good movie, but I think it suffers from middle movie syndrome. We're all really anxious to see Infinity War and Civil War, so anything between now and then is going to be seen as filler.
Loved the Hulk Buster armor. Really wished he would have used it more. The one-liner that actually made me laugh was when Ultron got in the Quinjet and started his getaway, only to have Hulk jump on and throw him off, you hear Ultron give off an "Oh, for God's sake!". It's only because I say that a lot, but it made me laugh.

I do hope AoU doesn't start to get too bad a reputation down the road, especially if Infinity War and Civil War wind up being great. The MCU does have certain formulas they rely on at times, but I'd happily sit through any of them over shit like Catwoman or Batman and Robin unironically.

I enjoyed it. I'll agree it wasn't as good as the first, and the Widow/Banner romance was.....ya, but it was a fun movie
I think it had quite a few good lines in there. My personal favorite being Hawkeye aiming at Quicksilver, "I could do it ya know"

It was a tell not show, and it never felt like they were ever showing significant stakes at any point in time.

I dunno, a large city that would theoretically end all life at least as much as the KT extinction event seemed pretty high stakes to me. But that's cool, we just disagree.

I waited to see it in the cheap theater just because I heard it wasn't as good as the first Avengers, blah blah blah, and so on.
Honestly? I loved it. Good stuff from start to finish. I was honestly concerned on how they would defeat Ultron.
Also, while alot of people didn't like the Bruce/Natasha ship, I was okay with it. Although I thought it was weird they didn't go with the Hawkeye/Black Widow ship or the Winter Soldier/Natasha ship, but it worked for me. I thought it was kinda cute.
