I've been in Toronto and seen more Redblacks and other team jerseys/T-shirts than I've seen for the Toronto team. In fact, I've not seen one Argonauts shirt at all. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but just contributing to the thread theme.
A little off-topic, but I cannot stand the hypocrisy in calling out the Redblacks (which is a name I mark for because it's so international in its flair). I see so many Americans (I'm assuming) are quick to pull the trigger on calling out a Canadian team with a name like that when we've got "the Reds," "the Cardinal," "the Browns," and even the "Red Sox" and "White Sox." Seriously, the Red Sox and White Sox? And in my area alone, there are local teams called the Purples and the Maroons, just to name a couple more. I personally think those are all fine and dandy, but it just lights a fire in me when I see someone call something else stupid from another country while the reference to the team names listed above just fly right off the same people's tongues without a second thought. It comes across to me as so entitled (and heck, I'm from the States, so I can only imagine what others think about it and lower my head/cringe every time someone is guilty of making fun of another team's name like that).
I love the name Redblacks. It got a certain punch to it. It's also very sure of itself in what the team brings to the table and represents.

That's true, but as a clarification/fun fact, the Cleveland Browns were not named for the color; they were named for their original coach, Paul Brown, though Brown himself tried to avoid that and even suggested Cleveland Panthers for the name, but there was already a semi-pro team with that name.

Okay, so there are a quite a number of American football movies. Are there any films about Canadian football? Well, other than this one: It's a fun game to watch, especially since a lot of the players from the IFL move up to the CFL. What tends to be the hierarchy of non-NFL professional football (and hell let's throw in semi-pro into the equation as well)?

Well, other than this one: It's a fun game to watch, especially since a lot of the players from the IFL move up to the CFL. What tends to be the hierarchy of non-NFL professional football (and hell let's throw in semi-pro into the equation as well)? I would say first, you have your semi-pro leagues, whether it be indoor or outdoor. Usually they're a bit more regional, like 3 or 4 state region. Usually, these leagues don't pay their players, they just play for the sake of playing. An example of this would be the Midwest Football Alliance, or the Central Plains Football League. Sioux Falls had a team for 5 years, the Sioux Falls Stallions, in the MFA, winning the Championship last year, before folding this year. Then you have your minor leagues that actually pay the players something, although not much. A lot of times, this is your indoor leagues, like the Indoor Football League, Champions Indoor Football, previous the Professional Indoor Football League, and the Arena Football League. I would probably also put in this category the United Football League (now defunct), NFL Europe, and the Fall Experimental Football League. These are also a little bigger, regional wise. The AFL goes across the country, but now it's showing signs of being overstretched and a business plan that is falling apart. If you want a good example of a league that pays its players and has a strong plan set in motion, I would say either the IFL or the CIF. Then I would say you'd have the CFL as the top non-NFL league, because I think there's quite a few players in the CFL that would be on par in the NFL. And alot of players from the indoor leagues have made the transition fairly well to the CFL, as the rules are alot similar to the indoor/arena leagues.
