I'm really disheartened that apparently, Vince bought up all this footage from years past and he's still sitting on it-this network can be ANYTHING it wants to be, but it really just seems like a promotional tool for the promotion itself. It really isn't about anything pre attitude much and there's a handful of Rock'n'Wrestling, but Good God, I don't need MORE of whatever is actually going on right now. I know I'm in the minority of older fans, but I was counting on wrestling heaven with everything I used to watch right there at my fingertips-Will that ever happen?
how did you envision the network when you first heard about it?

I was expecting the old TV content to come quicker and more evenly. Not me sitting here waiting for ECW Hardcore TV with my thumb up my butt

I was really hoping for more older footage, as well. I want all the weekly shows from the 80s and 90s really bad.

Since they had been doing the digitizing of the video library for several years, I would think they'd have it all out there immediately and put new content in once they had the subscriber base. as for new content, all of that old content could have been assembled into documentaries. I'm pleasantly surprised they're doing more "Reality" stuff with following wrestlers around (24) and letting them show more of "themselves". I also wanted a LOT more cartoons

Years ago when the rumor started, i always thought it'd be a live traditional tv channel.

It's exactly what I expected. It's worth it for the PPVs alone, because even if a show sucks a dick it's only £9.99. They have every right to not put everything on there, they want to keep you invested for the future and there is an ungodly amount of stuff on there in the meantime. Especially if you're largely interested in PPV stuff. Every now and then I'll think 'I fancy watching Arn/Flair from Fall Brawl '95' and there the f*** it is with a quick search. I still think the Network is amazing, just a touch slow (and it is irritating I don't have the chapter markers on my Xbox version).

I was hoping they would have more of the footage ready. I mean, not to get bitchy here, but how in the Hell is there not one single Raw from 2000?

I love it, so worth the £9.99, NXT alone is worth it, then there's the monthly PPVs, podcast episodes, documentaries, behind the scenes stuff, Unfiltered, it's all incredible, I do wish they had more Raw up though, I'd love to watch the entire year of 2001 Raw & SmackDown, but I get why they're making us wait, incredible service, cannot complain in the slightest

I actually suprised at how much of the attitude era is uncut...though I think that's a recent development I just got the network this week. Wasn't even the scratch logo blurred out at first?

I think the intent was to have everything on WWE Network be uncut (don't they show Chris Benoit?) and the blurred logos in the beginning was just nobody going through and removing them.

You'll still see the scratch logo blurred out occasionally, but that's mostly on documentaries that WWE put out before July 2012 when the company struck that deal with the World Wide Fund For Nature. On one occasion, the live stream aired the Rob Van Dam/Jeff Hardy ladder match from Invasion with the scratch logo censored. This particular copy of the match was from the Rob Van Dam: One of a Kind collection, which WWE released well before July '12. But yeah, being able to watch classic shows without blurry logos or "the WW(mute) champion" is one of the best things about the Network.

They show benoit but you can't search for him... I think? You can search for him (I just tried) but the only thing I got was an episode of Hardcore TV from 1995. They don't include him in listings from what I remember so that would probably make him unsearchable though. As for the blurring, they worked out a deal with the Pandas about 5 years ago, fine to show the scratch logo and mention "WWF" when it comes to historical footage or when talking about that time but it must be censored in promotional materials. For the topic, I it is what I expected for the most part, except I was hoping for more classic material. I guess with that stuff not selling I can understand the "delay" but still sucks.

As a Bell Canada subscriber, I certainly didn't expect to not have access to the online / on-demand part of it.
The main channel deal is not that great outside of NXT, the PPVs and the podcasts. Who cares about watching Night Of The Champions 2013 6 times in the same day?

at first, a tv channel like the MSG network, that just aired random shit, that i wasn't at all interested in.
as it came to light, pretty much what it is. netflix for wrestling. it doesn't have everything, and the more you think about it the less that makes sense. but whatever, its gotta loads of good stuff.

I thought that over a year in, it would have a lot more classic content than it does now. I resubscribed recently after having let my subscription lapse for a few months and, as a fan of classic WWF, there's virtually nothing new for me to watch. I won't be resubscribing until there is more Golden Era content online.

Pretty much what it is, I got a channel, plus live on demand stuff, little disappointed there's no app here so I can get on demand through my TV, but I suspect I can access that by using the website through my TV.
Was hoping more DVD documentaries would be up, I swear they looked at all the ones I ever bought and just went "Put what Cole owns up, that's all" because every one I decided to not buy, aren't on there, all the ones I did, are.
Bought it for the classic stuff, use it for that, just wish it had a bit more classic stuff on there.
