I've been watching his old stuff. He's not really good but not sure why people hate him so much He wasn't horrible. I just think that he stands out poorly amongst the insane talent quality of WCW's midcard at the time. He was just so... nothing, he wasn't good, he wasn't entertainingly bad, he just existed.

He's up there with Ray Lloyd/Glacier on the list of guys WCW pushed that left you scratching your head. 'You have an embarrassment of riches, the best talent from the US, Japan and Mexico at your disposal yet this is a guy you think should be in line for a push? Come on!'

I think AFKAPI is one of the more underrated Russo ideas, and one of the few things he did right in WCW.
3 Count was another good one.

He's the one that put them together, gave them their gimmick and created their songs. Before the other two signed up with WCW, Russo had been putting Evan K through all that crap with Madusa.

I like how angry he makes other people by simply existing. It's just inspiring to me. You're in the wrong thread, you're thinking of Jose Lothario.

To me he was Piss-break Iaukea. His matches were timed perfectly so you could take a leak, wash hands, and look around the refrigerator.

He wasn't a bad wrestler, he could DO the moves perfectly fine. But he had no connection whatsoever to the audience, and it showed.

Cue up the OSW review clip of how to say his name properly.

What was his finisher? I vaguely remember a jumping DDT from the top ropes (that is, his opponent would stand keeled over and he'd jump down with a DDT). I'm not imagining that, am I? Yeah, I remember that from his AFKAPI days, not sure what he used before that.

I would consider him a meh wrestler as he wasn't terrible by any means but he was hardly great.
But interesting enough his wiki says that his promotion has done numerous shows in New Zealand yet I've never been able to find any sort of proof of this.

Prince Iaukea was far from terrible but he wasn't a person that most WCW fans wanted to get a semi-major push. WCW's roster was so damn deep and Prince was so average and vanilla. It also didn't help that he beat faves like Regal and Mysterio clean while TV champion.

I'm also always wonder why people (and Regal i guess:)) hate him so much, he was not the best but at least He tried I think. He had good, muscular shape, He seems for me as a wrestler who didn't want to talk (like some of You said, he has no mic skills) but just wrestling, the one who love to wrestle, win or not, botch sometimes, he loves it. I read he had black belt in judo, too bad he was not using his judo skills in ring more often. but what was the first thing I noticed when I saw him was the fact that he wrestled barefoot, I was like "what the f***? barefoot? this other guy gonna stomp his feet for sure! " I was shocked that he is not afraid of it www.youtube.com/watch?v=eP_fA7u8dsU

Prince Iaukea was a typical power plant guy, great looks, okay in the ring but very few of them left the system with any real personality. They knew to smile and slap hands when face, scowl a bunch when heel but they were all kind of lacking, I guess that's what you get when you put someone as limited as DeWayne Bruce in charge. It's like the situation in DSW/FCW/NXT with Bill DeMott, the best and brightest weren't necessarily the best and brightest, they were the ones who tolerated the sadistic drills they were put through and the abuse they were given without complaint and they were the ones who ended up on TV.

He treated wrestling matches like a 9th grader giving a book report. Like, okay, this is high school now, this means something, so you've got to try. But you don't have to look very enthused about it. And you will NOT.
