Wow, Halloween Havoc '99 had the real burial site of Jack the Ripper and The Boston Strangler.
Did you know that not only was the Ripper identified, but also that he and the Strangler shared the same grave?

watch.wwe.com/episode/WCW-Thunder-9653Check out the thumbnail image for Gene Okerlund interviewing Chris Benoit. It looks like they're in the dark. This is also the first Thunder episode to be booked by Vince Russo. Buff Bagwell and Scotty Riggs are shown discussing the finish of their match, then they do a "worked shoot" where everyone acts like Bagwell went against the script and pinned Riggs for real.

The Halloween Havoc '98 entrance set has a gravestone marked "Crockett."
Huh, I wonder who that could be.

On the Nov. 25, 2000 episode of ECW Hardcore TV, Spike Dudley goes into a room where Rhino is and closes the door behind him. Paul Heyman and ECW's composer Harry Slash are then shown desperately trying to open the door as if it's locked. In reality, Slash is just pulling on the doorknob when he obviously should be turning it. When he suddenly lets go, Heyman calmly turns the knob, and the door opens right up.

watching Starrcade 1990 and there is an 8 team Pat O'Connor Memorial International Cup with teams from different country
The South African team is Rocco Rock and Ray Apollo
They also can't decide on Rey Mysterio's (Sr.) name, the name plate says Mysteric
as for the teams, given all the great Canadian wrestlers in history I was surprised there team was a bunch of unknowns, was nice to see the Soviet team be actual former Soviet amateur wrestlers. It was nice to see the British team - Norman Smiley and Chris Adams - get a nice pop when they came out
it's a very tag-heavy show besides the tournament as we also have Skyscrapers, Doom and Freebirds (with unfortunate face paint) in matches

Surprised at how many wrestlers came through 1970s WWF before they became famous: While I knew of Ivan Koloff being the WWF champion between Bruno and Pedro (or was that between Pedro and Bruno?), seeing Kevin Sullivan and Bugsy McGraw on these shows was a surprise.

On the Dec. 13, 2000 episode of Thunder, Lex Luger's 1995-98 theme was played during his entrance rather than his "Total Package" music. The show was taped, yet WCW didn't fix the error.

watched the second World War III 60 man battle royale, of course it was a clusterf***, but would be lying if I said I wasn't invested at the end when Lex Luger fought back against the nWo
Also surprising that Lord Steven Regal was the last eliminated WCW wrestler before Luger

He had a lot of the babyface fire in WCW that he didn't have in WWE for some reason, even though it would only show up intermittently.

Continuing through 1970s WWF:
-Before there was the WWE Sign Guy, before there was ECW's Hat Guy and Faith No More Guy, before there was even Vladimir...,there was Ms. Krueger/Krieger, a kooky old lady who, at one point, even interferred in Prof. Toru Tanaka's pre-match ritual. She also gets acknowledged by name from time to time by Vince.
-Between Lord Alfred Hayes in the 1980s and the ring announcers in the late 1970s, I wonder if the WWF had a contract with the world's ugliest tuxedo maker.
-There was a Jack Evans in the WWF at that time, making him the second with that name in wrestling history?
-Wondering if talking about Koko B. Ware in the WWE hall of fame today would be equivalent to talking about Baron Mikel Scicluna being in the Hall Of Fame in the 1990s.
